The McCain-Paul Dilemma

Good article and a well made point. McCain did start out with honorable intentions. He did not stick to his core values tho and he waivers in his beliefs and delivery. To me, this makes him look weak and moldable (is that a word?). The attraction of RP is that he is so commited to his core value and message that you know he is not your typical politician. To me, this is his one of his main attractions. Being a political leader is not as hard as these corrupted and self serving politicians want us to believe. Follow the US Constitution and the will of THE PEOPLE!

I differ on one or two points with RP. I also understand that he will be limited in what he can actually do when he is elected. Most of us understand the 3 branch system, unbelievably, some don't. Voters are so use to seeing the president just doing what he wants to do that they see that as somewhat business as usual. It is NOT intended to be that way! Bush like Bill Clintion have changed the face of the presidency in a very negative way.

One of the biggest pluses for me about Ron Paul is that he will immediately cancel presidential directives. These are laws that the president has made in the backrooms of the White House with his loophole searching/exploiting administration and with the stroke of a commemorative pen! This is a form of dictatorship that is lost on many and most people.
