What's so creepy about copyright law?

If you don't like the system, change it.

Is it broke enough yet?

Copyright, patent and the nebulous IP laws are insidious, an affront to liberty. The laws are fouled and unacceptable in a free society.

You own nothing, everything is "permission" based and always revocable - if you play by the imposed rules.

What would George Orwell have to say?

The author is 59 years dead. Ban me for my dissent if you must.

Good old hard copy books.

You can still get Orwell, Animal Farm, etc.
