Grayson and Posey Continue Ron Paul's Line of Questioning: TREASON!

TREASON!

This is Congressman Alan Grayson questioning Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke on $550B of loans to foreigners (or ‘central liquidity swaps’ in Federal Reserve-ese).

http://www.youtube.com/wa...

[Alan Grayson:] “What’s that (the $553 billion amount)?”

[Ben Bernanke:] “Those are swaps that were done with foreign central banks. Many foreign banks are short dollars …”

[Alan Grayson:] “So who got the money?”

[Ben Bernanke:] “Financial institutions in Europe and other countries…”

[Alan Grayson:] “Which ones?”

[Ben Bernanke:] “I don’t know.”

[Alan Grayson:] “Half a trillion dollars and you don’t know who got the money?”

[Ben Bernanke:] “Um, um, the loans go to the central banks and they then put them out to their institutions to try to bring down short-term interest rates around the World.”

Bill Posey continues Ron Paul's questioning of Bernanke on inflation and HR 1207. 07/21/2009

Obstructing and Manipulating

I missed this one – ( Obstructing and Manipulating by Bill Sardi ) – ( According to a 250-page report submitted to Congress by Neil Barofsky, the Special Inspector General in charge of oversight of the Troubled Asset Relief Program (TARP), the Ben Bernanke-led Federal Reserve and the Timothy Geithner-led US Treasury Department are obstructing justice by not cooperating with efforts to maintain transparency in the federal government’s economic bailout program. ….. The big question is whether names like Hank Paulson, former head of the Treasury, or Geithner, the current US Treasury chief, or the Federal Reserve’s Bernanke, are on Barofsky's list. Bernanke Caught Swapping Currencies On the same day Barofsky was briefing Congress on his 250-page report, a film clip on YouTube showed Congressman Alan Grayson grilling the Federal Reserve’s Ben Bernanke, who admitted to swapping $500 billion of US funds to central bankers in Europe in one day (this represents 25% of what the US collects in taxes in an entire year), in what appears to have been an attempt to alter the value of the US dollar and to influence the price of oil and the value of stocks.) http://www.lewrockwell.com/sardi/sardi113.html

Alan Grayson is no dummy

I think people would be very surprised at the bio of Alan's life.Harvard educated with a PhD in government and graduated in the top 2% of his class. He also has a law degree and a degree in economics. He's no dummy.

THIS IS WHAT CONGRESS MEMBERS SHOULD BE DOING.

Dr. Paul finally has some allies in this fight.

LOVE to watch them squirm and trip over their lies...BUT

they will never allow an audit....because they are a bunch of lying f**king THIEVES! However, we MUST keep the pressure for transparency on them......

what a horrible human being

The more worrysome problem . . .

To me, the more worrysome problem is they haven't learned anything. Given the opportunity and if there isn't an opportunity like this they'll find something else equally as idiotic, they'd do the same thing again and again. And the American people continue to pay.

Lose Weight Fast

This is pretty comical

This is pretty comical. Banks got trillions of our dollars to prevent some mystical crisis.

Once they got the money, all they did was sit on it. And right now they are trying to suck money out of the system in order to spend the bailout money without causing too much inflation. What does that mean? Well, I think it means the bankers will get to buy another yacht and the money they spend will eventually trickle down to the little people. In other words, just another day in the American Empire

Now quit your bitchin and enjoy the ride :p

I called Congressman Grayson's and Posey's offices to thank

them, and I asked if they accepted non-constituent emails. Congressman Posey's office does not, and this is generally the case, but Congressman Grayson does accept non-constituent emails, and I got on his email list by emailing my thanks to him once before.

Debbie

somebody with REAL understanding, please comment

There has been a question raised. That Senator Grayson didn't do his homework and was asking dumb questions. Specifically, that Senator Grayson doesn't understand what a "swap" is.

I'm not convinced that Grayson is ignorant.

Ben B. answered the question with, "Um, um, the loans go to the central banks and they then put them out to their institutions to try to bring down short-term interest rates around the World.”

He said "loans". A "loan" means loan. Ben did NOT correct him by saying, "this is just a swap. We're not loaning money. It's an even exchange." He most certainly would have taken the opportunity to embarrass Grayson here. But he didn't. Why not?

So I'll take it at face value (and we all should) that there are actual loans. So let's get off Grayson's back, and give him the benefit of the doubt that he and his researchers have done their due diligence and are not ignoramuses.

Furthermore, as proof that Grayson's line of question was "on the mark. I transcribed this exchange.
Grayson: Wouldn't it be better [if the money that went to New Zealand actually went to the US instead]?"

Ben: It's not costing Americans anything. We're getting interest back and it comes back ...it's not at the cost of any American credit....

Now, what I'd like to point out is this major confession, which everybody has missed:

1) He said, "we're getting interest back". Who was he referring to when said "we're"? Notice that he stumbled here. In fact, he is not referring to the US government, or us American citizens, but he was in truth referring to "we, the international bankers" are making the interest!! And laughing all the way to the bank. He exposed their scam right there! This is how they make money. They "loan" money, created out of thin air, and then charge us interest. Pure Keynesian. And purely diabolical.
2) Then he regroups and tries to correct what he just divulged unwittingly, "it's not at the cost of any American credit." Sure he's happy to loan money to Americans so the banking cartel can rape Americans, as they have been doing successfully and even legally (because of our stupid Congress) since 1913.

Just my 2 cents.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

Excellent Analysis!

Thank you for taking the time to show everyone that Grayson is not an ignoramus. Read his wikipedia bio, he's a Harvard graduate lawyer who specializes in humiliating his opponents.

Simply the admission

that the American people's tax(debt) money was sent to "foreign central banks" is sufficient information to show treason, and get the resulting hanging for it.
I'd like to see Bernanke,Paulsen, et al, dancing on the ends of ropes.

Excuse me?

Listen carefully. This is what Bernanke actually said (3:20):

"The GAO, right now, is doing an audit of our anal financial statement..."

This explains why we're getting reamed. Bend over, taxpayers! Bernanke and the GAO want to audit you.

Wow, that was awsome...

I saw the trembling as well, I would love to ask him a question while he is sitting in that seat. I would ask 'How does it feel to be the fall guy?' They don't care about the Constitution never did. I keep hearing him say the same thing over and over about how if we audit them it would disrupt our present and future economic stability. How does the present and future depend on an audit of the first 75 years? Just this would be enough to take them down. For I know full well that the fed paid for most of the suffering that the good citizens of this country have endured. I don't believe in coincidence, the ironic thing is he answered three questions with ‘I don’t know’ and seeking counsel with a fourth. The house of cards is falling down.

End the Fed

THIS IS WHAT CONGRESS MEMBERS SHOULD BE DOING.

Representing us as they are elected to do...not burying their heads in the sand and just using their lofty congressional pay and benefits for their own gain.

It looks like Dr. Paul finally has some allies in this fight.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul

Remember, unless you live in their district...

...emails won't work.

So a phone call or letter experessing appreciation for their efforts would be best I believe.

"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."

Then they should all be...

......Railing their colleagues to get signed on to Audit the Fed!!!

We demand a FULL accounting of where that money is going, period, to whom, why and when

They're going downnnn!!!

They're going downnnn!!!

This is not at all surprising

Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich have been shouting the same damn thing all the while. It's only because we are in such a mess that other congressmen have decided to open their eyes and actually look at this engineered collapse of the US economy.

There was a reason why President Jackson fought and put his life on the line to keep the control of money away from the hands of a private bank.

OMG

you guys......

is it just me????

or............

NO...............

it couldn't be........

am i listening to a bernanke with a shaky voice?

is he doin' the tremble dance in his pants?

Great clips

They make a good tag team.

Unbelievable

Bernanke openly admits the "money" is borrowed into existence with interest. This is why we have a 58 trillion dollar national debt.

"We don't want the public to think that Congress is influencing monetary decisions." Bernanke seems to forget that the Constitution requires that.

no- one asking

why is USA taxpayer money being used in foreign country deals?

It's not the "peoples

It's not the "peoples money",it's their money that you are forced to use.
They spend on what they want and stick us with the bill that will get passed on to the children and so on and so on.

I have come to the realization that all levels of the current government does not work for the people, but sees us as "slaves" but to call us that would be a wakeup call.So it's "flowered" as "citizens","tax payers",(add nicer term for slave).Paint their actions/laws as "good for all","for the children","for the country/state","public safety",when all those actions are anti-liberty.

Communism & socialism are bad words, let's call it a democracy, the majority won't know the difference if it's a gradual transition away from a constitutional republic & liberty.

We can call him president, but their actions can be seen as the same as a dictator.

I'm beginning to think...

That I'll start wearing a white armband in public.

Two thousand years ago, a Roman Senator suggested that
all slaves wear white armbands to better identify them.

"No," said a wiser Senator,
"If they see how many of them there are, they may revolt."

Might start a movement.. :)
