Glad to have Garrett as my Congressman

Scott Garrett is a good rep, considering he is from NJ he is actually quite amazing! He tends to be more pragmatic than ideological, which makes his stands on issues to sometimes seem a little guarded - but he does listen to his constituents and he usually falls on the right side of protecting domestic freedom.

That end note of the interview was a complete gift to the pro-Fed movement though! "It has been proven in the US and elsewhere that the Fed is the best at keeping inflation low" - if a rebuttal was permitted to that remark he would have had his behind handed to him! Does this clown have any idea what causes inflation? Or that the racket of govt backed fractional reserve banking is facilitated by the Fed's existence?? It would be very easy to prove that commodity backed money would be THE BEST way to keep inflation low, just going back through history and comparing the inflation rates with and without a centralized bank proves that to be true.

Who is this guy Martin Baily?
