G. Gordon Liddy, the man behind the first Watergate break-in, was on the Chris Matthews show advocating the birth certificate stuff.
I came across this interview with G Gordon Liddy in which he was advocating the assassination of Jack Anderson, a reporter, while he worked for Nixon.

I met Jack Anderson during that time. I was a small town radio guy, and Anderson and I were both covering an event at Fort Hood. I chauffeured Jack Anderson and Barbara Dane back to the Temple, Texas airport. That's when I found out that the event was an attempt to "unionize" the army to go "on strike" in Viet Nam. I imagine that chance encounter got me into the FBI's files.
I have no point to make. Just reminiscing a brush with greatness.

The interview was illuminating. G.'s honesty is appreciated. I wonder why he is so highly respected as a political commentator in light of all this? He was plotting to murder somebody to silence free speech.
To me this is a much bigger issue than the birth certificate, which seems to have been conclusively debunked on the Chris Matthews show via the other recently posted G. Gordon Liddy clip.

I didn't it notice it debunked. Mathews kept pointing to the short form claiming BO already showed it to the public and its the same document accepted by all government agencies. However, it is not a birth certificate and though G did a poor job of pounding that into Mathews head, the fact remains that the short form is not sufficient proof of natural birth sufficient for the highest office in the U.S.
BO should either show the long form or admit that he doesn't want to show it because he is the illegitimate child of pedophile Frank Mashall Davis, if that be the reason for withholding it.

From this vid I linked to a G. Gordon interview with McCain, and then to a Letterman interview with McCain. The interesting point was made that if Obama is guilty by association with Ayers, then what of McCain's association with Liddy?

Ya but Ayers kicks ass in some respects whereas Liddy was just a corrupt Federal Government bureaucrat who ended up serving four and a half years in prison for his role in the water gate burglary (trying to fix an election.)
The Government tried to draft Ayers into mandatory slavery with the requirement he go kill Vietnamese people. So he had to choose between either going to go kill Vietnamese, going to prison (what if he gets raped or something...prisons aren't nice places), or go underground.

He doesn't have access to the long-form birth certificate nor does any other Hawaiian resident with the exception of certain state officials. I'm sure as president of the United States he could use that authority to get it somehow since apparently our executive branch has become all powerful, but other than that he wouldn't have access to it.

I don't hate her, but I do think she's not that bright (no Sarah, Africa is NOT A COUNTRY!). Ron Paul called her a "country club republican" in a recent interview.
I don't know if I agree with that. I just think she's not a good leader for the party especially when she could only handle 1/3 or so of her governor's term putting her in the the club of three governors in the last 100 or so years that have resigned before his\her term ended: Palin, Blagojevich and Jim Mcgreevey. Her Katie Couric interview summed her up pretty nicely...all cheespuffs.

Is Fox better? Not really.
I like the Rachael Maddow show, and she is on MSNBC. She also allowed Rand onto her program sometimes, and she says Ron is her favorite republican.
She focuses on civil liberties so her show is one of the better ones on in my opinion, and she wants to investigate the Bush torture stuff so her angle is interesting unlike Bill O or Hannity.
