The Financial Sense folks (Jim Puplava & John Loeffler) have posted something which shows what's inside this healthcare bill bit by bit!!! It's scary at best, complete tyranny at worst.

Digg it!

I read the analysis and the original bill (or as much as I could

digest in a single sitting) and it looks at least as bad as I had suspected. I did own a business in managed care until about a year ago and the provisions and economics of this bill will kill managed care in relatively short order. Suspicions have been pretty high in managed care, during the past 7 or 8 years that something like this would eventually happen.

The bill is 1017 pages long. There's no way any congresscritter is going to be able to read and completely digest all of that bill. Even if their staff people stay up nights and read through it, it's crowded with modifications to other statutes which have to be researched and read independently in order to discover the full effect of this or that provision. That people are giving this bill serious consideration, as well as a chance for passage, is alarming.

Health ID cards, online access to financial information and bank accounts. Treatment decisions from cradle to grave. So far, I haven't seen the kitchen sink, but I've got a lot more reading to do.

Aha, I knew they'd try to slip this in.

"a National ID Healthcard will be issued"

Since "Real ID" hasn't gone over so well, this Health Care bill is apparently the "plan B" to get it in. :(

This is just flat out insane:

I'm no scholar, lawyer, or even all that well educated compared to some, but I can understand how bad this is. With everyone that is in the health care profession, I would think that there would be one of the largest oppositions to this. Why have I not heard public outrage like never before. I have spent a great deal of this day reading all I can on this mess and still feel like I don't understand allot of it. But one thing is certain. If the gooberment has a hand in on it, are setting it up and running it, it can't be good for anyone but the ones that will reap the financial benefits. And I expect that to be outrageous also.

THE health bills coming out of Congress would put the de cisions about your care in the hands of presidential appointees. They'd decide what plans cover, how much leeway your doctor will have and what seniors get under Medicare.

Yet at least two of President Obama's top health advisers should never be trusted with that power.

Start with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel. He has already been appointed to two key positions: health-policy adviser at the Office of Management and Budget and a member of Federal Council on Comparative Effectiveness Research
