Maybe I’m confused.
I thought the governor of Texas was Rick Perry.
But he’s starting to sound like another R.P.: Ron Paul.
The more Perry talks about tea parties, states’ rights, limited government and defying Washington, the more he seems to be playing for the 70,000 Texas voters who backed Paul, a Republican U.S. representative, for president.
Paul’s former state campaign manager is now running against Perry for governor. She agreed.
"It’s awfully ironic, isn’t it?" Wharton Republican Debra Medina said Friday, laughing over the phone from Austin.
"The governor is great at blowing smoke. He knows how to talk conservative values and principles. Then when he gets elected, he goes right back to big-government principles."

I would believe Rick Perry
as much as it would snow tomorrow in Lake Jackson, Tx. Rick Perry can NEVER be another Ron Paul even in his dreams. The closest you can get to Dr. Paul's principles is Debra Medina, our next Governor of Texas. Now, she's the real one and there's no way Rick Perry could hold a candle to her.

Well, I may have never had the honor to meet Ron Paul in person, but I do know who Ron Paul is and what he stands for, and Rick Perry is not, cannot, and never will be a Ron Paul!

Obama did the same thing in his campaign.
When it was learned that 70% of Americans were against the wars and were just beginning to hear Ron Paul's anti-war campaign talk,,,,Obama suddenly was anti-war and in my opinion got nominated and elected on that platform.
The end results are, more Americans are still dying overseas.
