If by "you" you mean people who believe Obama was not born in Hawaii, then yes those people have psychological problems. It's called denial. They don't think what is and thus having no other defense against simply refuse to accept it. It's called denial. The birth certificate has been shown and the newspaper in Hawaii also show it. This claim that it's not the birth certificate is what is called denial. I would love to hear the rationale behind the newspaper documentation not being proof. That kinda bullshit would be really fun to hear.

A Certificate of Live Birth printed in 2007 does not equal a birth certificate. He could not use that for many legal things including getting a passport.
The one website that was given his COLB was owned by the Annenberg Foundation, which Obama sat on the board for and gave millions of dollars out of their money. That's a HUGE conflict of interest.
A birth announcement in a newspaper isn't proof of anything either. It only shows that they took money to print something that may or may not have been completey true.

What is absurd is that for over a year I've heard the media say that a piece of paper printed in 2007 without a signature or a seal is a certified birth certificate that proves he is a natural born citizen.

I never said you want to see his birth certificate because you don't like him. I believe the concern about his birth is a real and genuine concern. The point is if you didn't hate what he is doing to the country, you wouldn't be passionate about it.

It's not possible to take something on faith right. To use, funny enough, just logic to come to a sense of satisfaction. It's not possible to reflect and consider that emotion and obsession clouds the logic in the first place? It's not possible to think that maybe the issue isn't even about the birth...that maybe it could be true that the whole birth issue is genuine but maybe the obsession with it suggests there's more here than just the birth issue. Maybe the disgust with the person himself is so big and so powerful that it will latch on to anything to sustain itself, even where he was born.
And it's not possible that the sheer absurdity of initially thinking of putting someone not eligible for a position as the candidate and thus jeopardizing their chances suggests how ridiculous the reality that he isn't eligible is?
