Campaign seeks audit by attorneys general of election documentation

Just as Barack Obama's Aug. 4 birthday is approaching, a law firm handling one of the legal challenges to his eligibility to be president is arranging for a fax blast to attorneys general in all 50 states pointing out their obligation to investigate possible perjury during the 2008 election.
The campaign is being run by Gary Kreep and the United States Justice Foundation, which is handling a lawsuit against Obama on behalf of former Ambassador Alan Keyes.
The fax messages cites evidence that suggests Obama may have been born in what now is Kenya.
"But the United States Constitution clearly says only a 'natural born citizen' may be elected president," the message states. "I hope and pray that you will do your duty by fully investigating whether Barack Obama committed perjury, or violated another state law … by falsely claiming that he was constitutionally eligible to serve as president of the United States!"

The House of Representatives
The House of Representatives wants to pass a Resolution saying, among other things, that Obama was born in Hawaii, but they aren't interested in seeing his birth certificate?
Now, I don't know where he was born, but because of all the people saying that he was NOT born in the US, and because Obama has hired law firms for the express purpose of preventing the release of his birth certificate, I think that this is something the Congress needs to look into.
Maybe we need to ask members of the Congress if they even care whether or not Obama is a natural born citizen as required by the Constitution. We should ask them why Obama has made such great efforts to hide his birth certificates. Forget this dumb resolution.
Our body of legislators
Our body of legislators don't read the bills they vote on. And now they want to pass a Resolution stating that Hawaii is Obama's birth place. They want to this without any evidence, other than a copy of a piece of paper, Certificate of Live Birth, that contains unverified information. The majority of the House is made up of attorneys, so they should know better. Shame on them.
This is the only piece of so called evidence Obama has ever released. Subsequent to being released it's been reported he's spent almost $1M on attorneys fees to block any further documents from being made public.
In addition, on January 21st, 2009, his very first day in office, Barack Obama implemented and signed into law Executive Order 13489, blocking access to all his records. Any person with an ounce of common sense should be asking, WHY, what is he hiding?
this whole thing is so damned fishy.
The fact that congress would create a bill to 'acknowledge' that Obama was born in that state tells me and should tell us all that he isn't a natural born citizen.
If he was they would release documentation and this would be a done deal.
So we have an act of congress to somehow bullshit everyone that he was born there?
Unreal.

By passing this do nothing
By passing this do nothing non binding resolution, it will give amunition to the talking heads to bolster their point that Obama is eligible to be president.
And those fast asleep idiots in this country who don't know any better will believe them.
In addition, I doubt the talking heads will be up front about the fact this resolution is meaningless. That would defeat their purpose.

In fact, as a spokeswoman for Bachmann told Salon -- and C-SPAN video of the congresswoman's remarks on the House floor confirmed -- Bachmann supports the resolution.
After the postponement, on Monday evening the resolution passed -- unanimously. Bachmann was one of the "yea" votes.
