Well there you have it folks. No more issue.One guy somewhere in Hawaii says he has seen the "Vital document". The legislation that was passed about his birth place was only done so that the news could further exclaim "See, congress says he was born there too!"

Some people might be slow learners, but something like this going on, and a "silencing campaign" going on about the issue, is quite a bit of smoke, and that means there's some fire underneath.
Naysayers can "poo-poo" this all they want.

That Obama's father is Frank Marshall Davis. Given the meaning of "natural born", this is the only way that he could be. Why do you think Obama Sr. divorced his mother shortly after marrying? The child was not his. Maybe he saw the birth certificate.
Why all the secrecy? So what if your father was an avowed communist? The American people will understand (maybe!).

A US citizen traveling on a US passport could visit Pakistan in 1981.
Why do you think that this is not so? What are your sources.

I put that on one of my posts here as kind of an inside joke, then I started adding it with the web site url to some of my "birther" posts elsewhere.
I think we can piggy back on all the new birth certificate interest with something like this while we have a captive audience.
When they tell you to forget about the birth certificate and get on to more important issues, well, let 'em have it!

Instead of a certificate, show me the law...
It is true that the birth document originally written (presumably by a doctor) in 1961 had a good deal more information ..... including a great deal of personal information that's nobody's business. Birth certificates written out when the baby was born - especially if more than 25 years ago - would have details on the mother's occupation, when she last worked at it, whether the mother was tested for STDs, whether the baby was given a particular kind of eye drops, how many other children the parents had, etc. Since then, privacy laws have made much of this personal trivia off-limits to strangers.
The document made public by the Obama office last year (the one on green security paper, which a lot of people call "the short form") is a reissue of the birth certificate. In the last 47 years Obama has lost track of the 1961 piece of paper (I had to give mine up when I applied for a federal job which I didn't even get) and this is the replacement issued by the Hawaii Health Dept, which prints it by computer from digitized data, and shows the bare minimum of information necessary for a birth certificate, without all the personal data about the parents which is now entitled to confidentiality by law.
It turns out that this form is the one and only replacement form currently being issued for anyone born in Hawaii. Hawaiian law (cited at the bottom of the form) makes this replacement form the legal equivalent of any other form of birth certificate.
This certificate shows (1) Obama was born in Honolulu -- evidently some people are unaware that is a city in Hawaii and that Hawaii is part of the US, and (2) that the birth was registered in the Health Dept within two business days of his birth -- some people really didn't read that line.
Now, nobody has shown me any law - either federal or in Hawaii - that says that a birth certificate must show more details to establish that someone was born in the US. I've heard all sorts of nonsense, but not a single statute, not a single court decision, suggesting that the Hawaiian document already made public isn't sufficient proof of citizenship.
On Monday, July 27, the US House of Representatives passed, by an overwhelming vote, House Resolution 593, recognizing the 50th Anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th State, which mentioned explicitly that President Obama had been born in Hawaii. Although not a statute, this demonstrates the satisfaction of the Congress -- the ONLY authority capable of disqualifying him -- that he is eligible for the office of President.
Also recently, some birther filed a Freedom of Information lawsuit in the federal district court in Washington DC against the Dept of State (which has the passport records) and the Dept of Homeland Security (which has the immigration records, inherited from the Dept of Justice and Dept of Labor) for documents relating to Obama. In its formal answer filed in court, those two Departments have declared that (1) Obama is "a natural born citizen" of the US, (2) that he was born in the State of Hawaii, and (3) he was never a citizen of any other country.
On the other hand, nobody has come up with any sort of solid documentation showing that Obama was born anywhere but Hawaii.
In the meantime, some "birfers" - Orly Taitz, for instance - have said that even the complete 1961 Hawaiian document won't satisfy them ... because they think that Obama, even though born inside the US, must have inherited (dual) British citizenship from his father. This is not American law. This is supposedly from British law. We fought the War of 1812 to prove that the British citizenship laws don't apply here. And the War of 1812 isn't the only demonstration; in 1881 Chester A. Arthur became the 21st President of the US -- he had been born in Vermont to a mother who was a US citizen and a father who was a British citizen.
The point is....
This is not helping us. This is not going to help us.
I've been told more than once, "Don't use a sledgehammer when a fly swatter will do." We don't need sledgehammers anymore. We are winning, but you can't win anyone talking about birth certificates and 911 conspiracies. Giving politicians an excuse to avoid town meetings is a bad thing.

The birth certificate issue has nothing to do with 9/11 and it is not some random "conspiracy". A certificate of live birth does not verify that someone was born in a particular state. This link is a perfect example:

Additionally, there is much evidence that not only is Obama's certificate a fraud, but there are increasing amounts of people stepping forward on the issue that is clearly a problem. If he were to get dethroned from his ineligible position, it would be huge in undoing the things he has done so far. It is an important issue and should not be ignored but should be brought to light along with every other endeavor.
Would it

Everyones' interests and tipping points are not the same.
What may catch one person's attention and cause them to raise an eyebrow and look further into things and hopefully awaken to the fraud that is going on may be something completely different for someone else.
For some it may be the Fed, for others it might be 9/11, for others still, it might be the birth status issue.

A: No. It is not possible. Pakistan was on the U.S. State Department's "no travel" list in 1981.
Conclusion:
When Obama went to Pakistan in 1981 he was traveling either with a
British passport or an Indonesian passport.
If he were traveling with a British passport that would indicate that was possibly born in Kenya on August 4, 1961, not in Hawaii as he claims.
And if he were traveling with an Indonesian passport that would indicate he relinquished whatever previous citizenship he held, British or
American, prior to being adopted by his Indonesian step-father in 1967.
Whatever the truth of the matter,the American people as well as we in the military need to know the answers to these questions. How he managed to become a "natural born" American citizen between 1981 and 2008 is beyond me.
Funny thing ....
The US Dept of State has denied that travel to Pakistan was forbidden in 1981. Pakistan may have been on a list of places that were considered unsafe, but Americans were allowed to travel there using their US passports.
Birthers get lonelier. These stories don't end. The heat is on.

The House of Representatives has just passed a bill recognizing the 50th anniversary of Hawaii's statehood and noting the state as President Obama's birthplace. The 378-0 vote was a "none-too-subtle jab at the Birthers"—who claim Obama wasn't really born in the U.S. and therefore isn't eligible to be president. And the real insult came when Rep. Bill Posey, sponsor of the "infamous Birther Bill," and other Republican sympathizers cast their votes for the language recognizing Obama as a natural-born citizen.
It's true that "a few misguided souls among the Right" have indulged this birther "foolishness," said National Review in an editorial, but "the birth-certificate business is not a uniquely conservative phenomenon." The claim that Obama was born in Kenya appears to have originated with a pro-Hillary Clinton blog during the presidential primaries. "Barack Obama may prefer European-style socialized health care," but "he was born in the U.S.A."

She's seen the short form and assumes it's correct. Dobbs has reported the long form was trashed eight years ago. At any rate, she has no business proclaiming him natural born when it takes two American citizen parents.
Orly Taitz, Esquire, is using encyclopedia "The Law of Nations" by Vettel, to back her case. She says when the constitution was adopted, this was the most well known encyc. for law and govt, and based on this encyc., our constitution was written.

Obama's Eligibility to be President
Use of the term "birthers" to describe those who doubt and challenge Obama's eligibility mimics a common childhood tactic: calling your opponent names to win an argument in the absence of facts. The facts: 1) Obama's true long form birth certificate has not been provided for examination; 2) the DNC during the election campaign posted on its website an image of a computer-generated Hawaii certificate of live birth - which proves nothing even if it were authentic, and it has been exposed by experts as fraudulent; 3) transcripts and official records from his college days (which could shed light on whether he was registered as a U.S citizen) have never been released; 4) several lawsuits have been filed to obtain his records; some cases have made it to the U.S. Supreme Court; others have been dismissed for plaintiff "lack of standing".
Framers of the U.S. Constitution, to insure loyalty, required Presidents to be natural born citizens. Laws in effect at Obama's birth in 1961 specified that if a child was not born in the U.S. or its territories, at least one parent had to be an American citizen for five years after turning 14; Obama's mother was 18 at his birth, too young to confer his citizenship. Obama in his book states that he was born in Hawaii (a U.S. Territory in 1961), yet there is ample evidence that he was not - evidence that he was born in Kenya.
Critics of "birthers" ridicule the movement as conspiracy theories. One should ask, instead, about whether there is a conspiracy among Obama's administration, his adoring media, and politically correct politicians and judges, to stonewall the public by sitting on the story and reporting nothing about it. Until very recently the silence has been deafening!
Why won't Obama just release his true long form birth certificate and his college records for examination - so we can all see that this has just been a silly misunderstanding? Isn't that what a legitimate candidate and U.S. President would do?
The problem with not releasing these documents is that Obama is seen by growing numbers of Americans as hiding evidence that he is not Constitutionally eligible to be President. This feeling progresses to doubts that anything Obama says is true. Doubts are increasing about his loyalty to the U.S., based on his statements to, and treatment of our adversaries versus our traditional allies, and his apparent trashing of our Constitution and turning our system away from market-driven to socialism.
Enough talk about "birthers"! Let's see Obama's true long form birth certificate (if it exists) and his college transcripts. Obama, pick up your phone and make that happen.
