I think I read somewhere in order for Sotomayor's nomination to move to the floor for a vote One republican vote was needed. How fortunate Lindsay gave her that one vote.

christian NeoCons have not proven themselves to be friends of the Liberty movement...up to this point. I know some of these people and they are the most duped and ignorant people I know.

I'm no fan of Lindsey Graham but he's one of the few that have signed on to the senate version of RP's Audit the Fed bill. Actually as a test of "soul ownership", I'm quite surprised by the number of representatives in the house that have signed on...Kind of makes me proud. They're just stupid, not evil, they can be taught about freedom.
As for party affiliation, he's simply wearing the "R" lapel pin, but he's a Dem in all other ways.
Just like Arlen Specter was before he flipped, and Jim Jeffords before him.
It doesn't really matter because they vote with the Dems anyway, so they might as well be on the Dem roster.

what it is about that schmuck Graham but I just loathe his ass. Why do they keep electing this guy? I thought S.C. was better than that. I believe that he supported the socialist judge becuase he is a closet homo-sexual...not that there is anything right about that...
Lindsay should come out of the closet and join the liberals.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground."
Well, I guess he called that one.

Flipped his wig, that is.

Jim: From his vote today, he might flip soon!
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) was the only Republican to support Sotomayor. The Senate cmte's Dems voted unanimously for the Bronx native.
