We're from the government....

Mercury may kill but before it does it causes insanity. Maybe there's too much mercury in the DC water? FDA approved of course.

The FDA is great at overseeing our health. They approve of deadly fluorine gas added to our everyday drinking and bathing water (babies too). Fluorine gas is considered one of the most reactive substances known and participates in formation of highly toxic compounds.

The FDA, so lovingly caring for us, are working day and night to ban colloidal silver which unlike other "FDA approved" chemical compounds has killed no one.

Does it seem like there are too few people or organizations in DC that are actually people friendly?

There are alternatives

I think, in this rare instance, the FDA is right in calling it a Class 2 risk. This means it's still a risk to use mercury amalgam fillings, but not as high as previously believed. They added that the removal of a mercury filling released toxic gases and was a risky procedure.

Both of my parents live to ripe old ages and they had quite a few fillings! I wouldn't say that having them shortened their lives.

If you are concerned about heavy metal toxicity, then you might consider getting MCP - Modified Citrus Pectin. It binds to heavy metals and carries them out of the body. When the people of Belarus and Ukraine were contaminated by Chernobyl and the clouds of uranium dust, they were all given apple pectin to help remove the heavy metals. Most survived. There is always a plan B, even if you have mercury fillings.
