What positions do we need to hold to ensure RP is a candidate?

Also, mention was made of the Diebold machines. Now is the time to topple that one. If there is someone out there in lawsuit-land who wishes to undertake the case for the cause, THIS is the time for it, not 30 days before the election.

Let's call Diebold on the carpet and prove that their machines are not infallible and forbid their use.

Run for city council. School board. PTA president. Sheriff. Mayor. Anything in government. Study the issues, preach liberty and capitalism, and make an example for the next great film, America: Fascism to Freedom, a history of the rEVOLution.

Organize within your own precinct. Remember when the RP's campaign was signing up precinct captains? Appoint yourself to the job and go give your neighbors a copy of the constitution. Don't mention anything of RP, the Fed, guns, Obama, etc. Buy a bulk order (plenty available online, just google), and just give them to you neighbors. "Howdy, neighbor. I just thought we're way off on the wrong track, so I thought I'd give y'all a copy of the constitution so you can read it for yourself. It's pretty short. Enjoy!"

Study the issues so you can explain them to others. Ayn Rand once said that if the Conservatives lose to the collectivist democrats/socialists, it will be because they did not know how to preach CAPITALISM.

In 2012, Ron Paul or Gary Johnson will get plenty of attention. We'll make sure they're well known. But they'll only get the votes if people AGREE with what they're saying. Freedom cannot prevail without winning the intellectual struggle. If you don't understand rights, individuality, property, and the productive and humane nature of laissez-faire capitalism, then of course you'll follow the big government socialists.

I always try to make conversation about the high prices we see. "Gosh, beef jerky is so expensive! Remember when it was like $6.00 a pack? It's $12 now!" (true story, by the way : )). "Yea, and gas was $1.25. And milk was $2.00. And Cigarettes were $2.50. etc. And that was just 10 years ago. It's amazing how everything's double in price!" "Weird, isn't it, that it EVERYTHING is doubled?".......... you catch the drift. Planting some seeds about some of this stuff will go a very long way.

If you haven't heard of RP by now, then you're living under a rock. Thus, we should be looking for other ways to approach people with these ideas.. On that note, it's be a very long time since i've seen a "Google Ron Paul" sign or a "Who is Ron Paul?" sign. Maybe we need to plaster the country with those again. September 17th is Constitution day.......

1. Promoting Ron Paul's legislation....I'd say we've been pretty effective in that - the local meetup groups I belong to are largely still in place, and still used to communicate/educate each other on what Ron Paul and the Liberty Movement has been up to.....1207/604 has opened alot of peoples eyes as to what we stand for....

2. Of course we need to be going outside of our own circles, the growing states rights movement, local 9/12 meetup groups, gun rights groups that are scared and now more active, the legalize pot crowd, and the anti-war left as it becomes more dissilusioned with Obama, among others are all fertile grounds to find converts to our cause of freedom.....go to some of their meetings, talk to them....let them know about the C4L and the RLC...

3. Help promote liberty candidates - electing new voices that echo Ron Paul's message.... from Gary Clift's congressional run this summer.. http://cliftforcongress.com/index.html..to Debra Medina's run for Texas Governor and Rand Paul's Senate run...will help in more than one way - of course we have one more vote to limit government, but also the more people hear our message in positions of government, the less it will sound like one crazy guy in the wilderness.....which is often how Ron Paul was portrayed last year.....

4. Get active with your County Republican Executive Committee - we likely won't have a repeat of the delegate mess we had last year, because so many of us have become entrenched in the party - make it even less likely by becoming a precinct committeeman/woman yourself ( I highly recomend this, not only does it give you voting rights on county party business, but you also get a list of all republicans in your precinct, and You are responsible for keeping them informed) Who knows, do this now and you could find yourself a County Officer or Chairman/woman in 2012, or holding a State or National Party position......

We should never every bend our principals and values to become mainstream, but we should make our principals and value become the mainstream. We need to get the GOP back to its roots. We need to reform the GOP and not destroy the GOP. THe GOP has been transformed many many times. This is not the same GOP as it was under Lincoln, it changed under Robert Taft, it changed a little under Goldwater, then it changed a litte under Reagan, then it changed more under Gingrich and it changed the absolute most under Bush (for the worse)... Reagan was the halfway point between good and evil. His first term was perfect! His 2nd term was plagued with alot of spending and social conservatism which has little to do with liberty. We need to go back to the Taft/Goldwater/Ron Paul days! That is how we will win this damn election and I will bet all of my life savings that I am 100% correct!

•Music brings people Together...if you see a band or singer somewhere(even a subway, street, or coffee house) that you think have orginality, have really good vocals & music ....ask them if they would do a song for RP and patriots, tell them there is a great vaccum waiting to be filled ...they will be heard all over....we make Music Videos and push it out all over....
