Why Don't Limbaugh and Hannity Support Ron Paul's Bill to Audit the Fed?

opposition, Limbaugh and Hannity are what I would called fishermen, they string the unawakened public along. I heard Senator Jim DeMint on one of the mainstream stations, and he does not mention S604 or Ron Paul either, but for him there is good reason. He will not be allowed back on their shows first off, and secondly, he needs to remain incognito. My hat goes off to Senator DeMint for playing the game well, he is working it the way he should, and very strategically. I like DeMint a lot!!!!

They are spokesmen for the establishment. Why would anyone expect them to support the audit? It's good that they don't. Every Republican in the House is on board. The push now is to get the House Dems and the Senate to get with the program. Sixty percent of the Senate is Democrat. Having Limbaugh and Hannity supporting it would just give the establishment Dems talking points for the fake left-vs-right circus. It would accomplish nothing good.

Big Government is over too, and Rush and Hannity won't have anything to talk about......their audiences grow as well as their ad revenue when big government socialists financed by the Fed from both parties are in power.....Why would they want that to end?!

Hannity and Rush figure that if they support something Ron Paul has started, then they are legitimizing Ron Paul and what he stands for, which is a direct conflict with their preaching over the years.

Whenever they speak of him, they say Ron Paul the "libertarian" and not conservative or constitutionalist or even Republican. This is to make him wacky or out of the norm. It's simply propaganda.

1. They are invested in the war and cannot support Dr. Paul because he was always against the war and is right. This would make them look foolish. But I think many of their listeners have turned on the war now and don't agree with the neocons on foreign policy. You'll find more GOPers at local meetings being less hawkish on the war since the GOP got walloped in 08.

2. The GOP will not admit their wrongdoings. This means they mainstream GOP will continue loosing the younger voters. Politicians are never wrong and won't admit it because it's usually suicide. (RIP SANFORD)

Hannity and Limbaugh are just Neoconservatives who believe in limited government when a democrat is in the WH. They know that ending the fed would radically change our warmongering foreign policy. They like most neocons except for McCain.
