75% of Americans Favor Auditing the Fed!
According to Rasmussen:
So much for the ongoing secrecy of the nation’s independent central banking system. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 75% of Americans favor auditing the Federal Reserve and making the results available to the public.
Just nine percent (9%) of adults think that’s a bad idea and oppose it. Fifteen percent (15%) aren’t sure.
Over half the members of the House now support a bill giving the Government Accounting Office, Congress’ investigative agency, the authorization to audit the books of the Federal Reserve Board.
Barney Frank and Nancy Pelosi aren't among them.

I called Frank and the lady said they were aware of the poll. I asked her when the hearing would be for 1207. She said there isn't one scheduled. I asked her when it would be scheduled since they are aware that 75% of americans want the fed audited. She said she couldn't answer that. I told her she should look into that since the vast majority of americans want a hearing.

by Tom LaMar:Do we not have a real chance to re-use a true resource here, complete with infra-structure, devoted lower level trained labor force, established lines of communication with other necessary entities for good governance of the banking world, etc.? Seems to me it would be atgreat expensive and time consuming to set up some new institution to administer the money supply, etc. when perhaps the basic necessary structures are staring us in the face...minus the abusive practices of printing money, adding to the national debt (it should be printed by our government and just enter circulation to balance the budget, NOT adding to the national debt as it does now)...and eventually NOT offer much in the way of notes to esp. foreign interests to keep our country's true national debt from racing even more out of control (that is the greatest part of the true national debt, esp. owed to China, Japan, etal.)
The portion of the national debt"owedto" the Fed would be abolished, declared null and void, etc. and the criminal activity of not upholding the constitution esp. insofar as printing money is concerned would be pursued with appropriate legal proceedings and new legislation to prevent any such future activity.
