... well, that works as long as everyone has their head up their ass. Hells-Bells, people are pulling their head out of their ass nowadays in large part to the internet, thanks Al.

Politicians have been at the lobbyist trough long enough. If this house of cards should collapse they better have a large standing army "on their side", something our founding fathers forbid in the Constitution for that very reason.

I was just talking to some remodeling suppliers and one sounded like a DP'er, but never even heard of Paul, the other said he was going to vote for Paul (?). The one that never heard of Paul, son was expelled from H.S. (champion wrestler) for an alleged disparaging comment in social studies in front of his Hispanic classmates discussing their right to display the Mexican Flag in America. When it was his turn to express an opinion, he objected to displaying foreign flags, saying this is America, not Mexico, and he did not like it ! The teacher and him got into heated exchange, claiming his remarks infringed on the Mexicans 1st amendment rights ! He was expelled and his dad (above) went to the principle demanding his son's right to free speech too. The principle concurred with the father and the boy returned to class and gave a copy of the 1st Amendment to the teacher who became insulted and "tried" to have him expelled again lol.

If Bishop actually listened to those people before voting on the matters upsetting to them it's highly likely an unruly mob would not be present.

I'm guessing he voted for cap-and-tax, a bill which will result in "energy" increases of 20-40% for all of us and this chooch has the gaul to wonder why people are angry?

They're seeing some of their supposed reps for the actors/liars that they are. Not representing the people just acting a part with a mission to do everything they're told to do and in the process take everything you have if possible. Both sides the repub actors and the demo actors working un unison to hand this country and essentially the world to the banks. I'm not even so sure that the threat by Hank Paulson of martial law in the event Congress didn't pass the bailout wasn't another ruse. Seeing as how
Congressman Brad Sherman who made the allegation took forever to sign on as a co-sponsor to audit the FED, you'd think he's have initiated the process ? Same with Robert Wexler Congressman from Florida. He was screaming Cheney hearings, impeachment proceedings (as should have taken place according to law) What happened to that guy..Where is he on HR 1207..HE'S AWOL...If I were Wexler I might think or have a strong inclination to believe an audit of the FED would give me what I needed to make a REAL case for prosecuting Bush/Cheney...To me it says bullshit, where does the bullshit stop ?? Purely disgusting...

of these alleged public servants is infuriating. For example, Tim Bishop wants to set the parameters of the debate. Anyone whose opinion is not not politically correct according to his definitions will not be allowed to speak. It's a sham democracy.

Thus, "Please, attend the Town Hall to discuss health care. However, don't question the major premise that we need 'health care reform,' which properly interpreted is the socialization of medicine." Bishop and the members of Congress, the MSM, and the Washington power elite are recalcitrant in their views. They have an agenda which they intend to enact no matter what. In truth they do not care what you think, as long as their person, position, power, and money are not threatened.

Of course they are. Congress has ignored the calls and letters from the American people. I read that the emails were 100 to 1 against the first bailout. Trying to get the attention of Congress by ordinary means has shown that Congress not only ignores the will of the people, but shows just how ignorant the members are on Constitutional and monetary issues.

The people, frustrated with being ignored, feel forced to raise their voices. Then state run media writes this article spinning political dissent as a form of criminal activity. Put the two together, dissent will increase, and with the help of state run media, the police state will become ever more obvious.

It's possible that this has been the design all along. Either way, what did Congress expect when they decided to blatantly thumb their noses at the electorate? As for my opinion, I say we should become even louder until those elected to serve the people clean out their ears and honor their oaths of office.

nice to read... constituents doing their jobs as citizens because those elected to "represent" them aren't doing theirs. reading the comments of the reps further points out the fact they just don't get it... such arrogance. this type of action by the citizens needs to continue until those in office have no choice but to listen. it is our duty, kudos to those who confront these elected piles of dung.
