I think the lawn on the National Mall is getting a little too brown. Perhaps it needs some fertilizer.
A little experiment.
Two rallies should be organized and held simultaneously.
One would be a pro-government/Obama rally. Signs like "Obama Rocks" and "We love the government."
The other, a little way down the mall, would be anti-government/Obama.
Neither would have a permit.
Would both rallies get a visit from the SWAT team?
It would be interesting to see.
Shouldn't this be in Iraq?

I'll admit it. Shopping for a personal tank can be a bit daunting. Many times in the past I've purchased overpriced, so-called "battle tanks", then driven them into battle only to be wrecked in ten minutes by the first blow off of some insurgents home-made morter. But not this baby, no way ...

Since when do we not have free speech rights in the Mall? I remember when I was a kid we went to DC and I swear there was about 100,000 hippies there doing a pro-legalization rally.
What law specifically between then and now changed those rights?

I was there
right next to Trevor Leach (YAL National officer) when the swat officer (Dillion) came up to tell us we had no free speech right on the mall property. YAL resisted for several hours from mall security and DC police but when the swat tank arrived and Officer Dillion started reaching for his taser (which I got on video) we decided it was in our best interest to disperse since we had several more training sessions coming up after lunch and didn't feel like wasting our time in jail. If not for the convention I suppose it might have been jail for us.

Do it in business suits
I think you should do one where everyone dresses in suits, carries signs and yells. But no one bunches up into a group which disturbs traffic in any way.
Then if they arrest or detain any of you, or even threaten to do so, it will undeniably be because of your political views.
