Swine flu screening of United flight 857 - San Francisco to Shanghai

Plane from San Francisco to Shanghai Pudong Airport arrives in Shanghai and pulls into the gate. Passengers are asked to remain in seats while people in white hazmat suits come aboard to take the temperature of every passenger by way of a laser beam aimed at their foreheads

And they all just sit there.... What would you have done if you had been on this plane? What if everyone had just stood up and stampeded off?
