Stockdale
I always thought Stockdale was some kind of lousy saboteur, because of his dismal performance during the vice-presidential debate. That was a low point in the Perot campaign. That and Perot's own erratic behavior, when he dropped out temporarily and then got back in to the race. Rumor had it that Perot and his family was directly threatened with being murdered by one of the other candidates. That might explain the erratic behavior on his part. Of course I can not verify that statement so I will leave the offending candidate unnamed.

Seeing Perot in this video brings back misty-eyed rememberances of when I worked for him at the Nashville, Tennessee campaign headquarters. Making phone calls, handing out campaign literature, tearing down the other candidates campaign signs in the dead of the night, good times! It felt like there was a chance. Dammit, Paul must be persuaded to run again in 2012!
