I Am A Constitutionalist

I used to describe myself as a Conservative, but the Neo Cons have made that a dirty word. Since I am not an advocate of undeclared wars around the globe, or creating a totalitarian state to "protect us from terrorism", I don't want to be associated with people who do. So, I guess I am a Constitutionalist.

That said, what we really need to be asking is, how do others view themselves. Most people seem to think that calling themselves "moderates" seems to be the safest bet. Unfortunately, with the continual slide into totalitarianism, today's "moderate" is yesterdays flaming liberal, and today's liberal used to be considered a Communist or a Fascist.

My views are based on the Supreme Law of the Land, our Constitution. It is not my views that are in question, it is the views and actions of our public servants who have sworn an oath to protect and defend that Constitution.

Government with its ginormous bureacracy and "budget", cronyism, and all the other main functions of both the Republicans and Democrats?

And how can you support "social issues" while being ok with punishing taxes for all, inflation that makes everyone poorer, control of food, water, the health industry, and all vital functions that reduce our civil rights to rubble?
