Although this guy was/is a jerk it further proved to me that Peter Shiff can think on his feet. Good tune up for a real debate.

Ask yourself why they would be going after Peter like that this early even before the fall campaigning officially starts? It's because they damn well know he has the brains, the balls and the grassroots support to beat the shit out of Dodd, they know he has Ron Paul supporters giving him a million dollar shot in the arm this weekend and they are afraid of Peter educating the masses for the next 18 months about money and the markets all the while Dr. Paul hammers the FED ... and then of course there is Rand to contend with, this is going to be fun!

O'Donnell is apparently channeling O'Reilly and Ed Schultz, whom Larry is filling in for. He basically puts him in is place by saying that he was nicer to him when Ed was only on the radio; the TV show got to his head. And, I clearly do remember Ed giving him a surprisingly fair series of interviews during the 2008 Pres.campaign.

Saddest thing is, I actually used to have a modicum of respect for O'Donnell; he's often on the sadly pathetic, but oft cacophony induced hilarity hat is the McLaughlin News Hour. Plus, O'Donnell was a producer and a writer for West Wing, which while overtly liberal, fulfilled my politikos fix once upon a time when I actually believed in the system.

NOW, he's just another shill, oligarchic sycophantic HACK of the worst kind. It's worse watching supposed liberals channeling O'Reilly and Limbaugh, while they deride him. Just another mechanism in the self-sustaining yapping cycle psycho chamber of the false Left vs. Right Hegelian dialectic.

I was so hoping Schiff would bring up Dodd's VIP mortgage treatment bribe controversy, after DuDD bailed out the bank that held mortgage on his million dollar McMansion. Laughable hearing "hero" with "DuDD" in the same sentence.

Oh the Fabian socialists are so desperate. Notice they never talk about what is in the bill. Always with the hypotheticals, how grandma X would FEEL, without letting them know that the bill actually will HARM the said grandma more. Seriously, CONgress should do NOTHING, on EVERYTHING, for every session. The less they do anything, the better the REPUBLIC is. Who the hell can track BILLIONS of legalese they've passed after all these years. There are SO many UNCONSTITUTIONAL and extraneous laws, at this point I believe it'd be difficult for anyone to argue with ANY sincerity, that the system ISN'T designed so that one would be caught breaking a law.

I hate to say this, but at this point these criminals lie so much, it wouldn't surprise me if DuDD's recent announcement for "treatable cancer" is not some publicity stunt to garner sympathy vote in the upcoming election. As if to say, 'Hey, it's treatable so if you elect me, I'll be around to enrich myself off you, schmucks in CONnecticut!'

Ron Paul's Convention Speech

Mr. O'Donnell,

As a former student of journalism (having changed majors to engineering), I must say I was quite disappointed with your performance last night in the interview with Peter Schiff. I will admit that I enjoy listening to Peter, when he is given opportunity to speak. He has been besmirched, harangued, and scoffed at for years, but has been consistently vindicated by the accuracy of his economic predictions. You did your viewers a disservice by attempting to misrepresent him, and the more intelligent among them will catch on to your tactics. You cannot be called a journalist, for their is an honor among that profession for which you have displayed your disdain. Real journalists ask smart questions, and have no need to talk over their guests. You have in fact done us all a favor by showing the hand of your network, as it were. We are wise to the Hegelian dialetic and the false dichotomy that pervades the airwaves of this nation, though you may simply be a pawn in it. So continue your little rants and think yourself a man. You may have wealth, and the ability to deceive, but you have no integrity. Forty years from now, they will not speak of you as an Edward R. Murrow, but as an O'Reilly from the left, if they speak of you at all. A good name is difficult to regain, but I maintain hopes that it would be possible, were you to treat your viewers and guests with all due respect regardless of their political opinions. Were you to issue a formal apology to your viewers, and to Peter Schiff, I would happily forgive you these wrongs and watch your show again.
