If your representative in the House wasn't a top-10 co-sponsor of 1207

They're only trying to stay in office and avoid angry people. Don't be fooled by any of them. Remember, the republicans are safe to pretend to be in opposition to all this right now. It's all a scam.

I ran into Eric cantor

at the Va. republican convention and he said his concern was it would give Pelosi and Frank control over the Fed. He co sponsored about a week later. He said he was going to talk to Mr. Paul about it and look into the wording. (he hadn't read it?) It was a fun day. We cornered him. He was being fawned over and giving autographs and then there was us....Not the worship he was expecting. The secret service saw us setting up the trap and knew what we were up to and were smiling the whole time. I think they enjoyed the show ;) We weren't mean. We were just firm and let him know he worked for us. I wish we had video. His original expression was priceless.

That's right....We were there

We were there to make sure he knew this was no game, that we weren't here to baby sit all the backroom deals he has with his banker buddies.

We were here to find out where our money went, the bank bailouts.

I don't understand

this post. Are you saying most of the republican representatives are only pretending to be in favor of auditing the Fed? And what are you saying to those of us who have democrats for representatives who not only weren't in the top 10, but didn't agree to co-sponsor it at all?

Yes, most of them are pretending

Your democrat is more honest about the official position. They ALL need to go!

She certainly is

into the official positions about every issue. She needs to go!

I figured this was the case...
