Thinking along these lines, gov't healthcare is a sure thing...

When they start spending money like this (bailouts, nationalizing failing business) it seems that the only true goal is the downfall of the economy altogether.

Government health-care will be an enormous burden on an already weak economy. It's failure is almost guaranteed.

A false-flag after national heath-care would easily stretch it to the breaking point.

Thoughts?

I was in Buenos Aires in June of 2003

The very educated European populace, meaning 97% white Italian and Spanish decendants, not Latin, had an unofficial" unemployment rate of up toward 45%, according to the people I was visiting. There were so many unemployed in the city parks that all the grass was worn off to expose hard packed dirt. There is something very depressing about hundreds of people sitting around on hard dirt ground because there used to be a park there. There were demonstration marches every day in front of my Hotel on Corriantes Blvd on the way to President Nestor Kirchner's "Pink House". The telephones quit working. Children were selling pens and cigarettes and begging everywhere. I had to dress down and didn't speak out loud for most of the time I was there. The Chicago Tribune said 180 foriegners were kidnapped in B/A that summer. Most were released when their credit cards ran out.
The exchange rate was different every day and nobody spoke at the bank teller windows. Everything was written on paper so your transaction couldn't be overheard. The dollar was so strong a 6 block cab ride cost 35 cents in US funds. An hour horse and buggy ride around the zoo and parks was $3. My room on the 18th floor at the Plaza was $70 USD per night and there were only two rooms on the whole floor. You could have landed a helicopter on my patio overlooking the city. The bathroom was as big as most hotel rooms.

The government flooded the country with borrowed paper money, inflation and regulations killed the economy. The government defaulting on it's foriegn debt killed the country's credit and ability to borrow.
What a mess. Coming to our country soon!

Thanks for the 'first-hand' info...

The more I read this the more it looks like what is going to unfold here.

They will get richer, we will get wiped out and many will die (us not them).

And then the next 70 year cycle starts again...

Individual Debt

Does anyone know what individual debt in Argentina was like at the time of the crisis? (i.e, credit card, mortgage, auto loans, etc...)? I doubt it was as high as that of average americans today. This may be a factor that bears on the liklihood of wether or not we experience something similar to Argentina in the USA.

Oh, I'm certain we are in much, much deeper than the Argentinian

...people. That will only make the implosion more severe when it finally comes.

Just read this on an InfoWars article by Mike Whitney...
"That puts Bernanke in a pickle. If he stops printing; interest rates will skyrocket, stocks will crash and housing prices will tumble. But if he continues QE, China will dump their Treasuries and the greenback will vanish in a poof of smoke."

I think that about sums it up, no?

So much for 'grassroots' movements, huh?

From this article, there is nothing we will be able to do besides prepare.

This is a great find!!!

I've emailed that page to several folks I know that will spread the word. I agree with the author that the parallels with Argentina are crazy-close.
Thanks for this!

Wow, this is what I been looking for!

This is front page material. I would love discussion on this. We are being played like a fiddle and I want to break some fingers.

Yes, it was a good read and worthy of a shameless, self-bump.
