I think it is a good idea

in a settle manner to ask such questions. I could tell at first the officer didn't understand then as the conversation went on he seemed to actually start thinking about it. Many of us have jobs and do things that might be questioned is this Constitutional and anytime we can get people to stop and think is a good thing. Well, done.

there are oathtakers everywhere

that haven't even read the Constitution. Let's start reading it to them. It sounds ridiculous when you read "shall not be infringed" to someone who openly supports a gun ban and takes the oath.

This is why we

need to do this in a kind way because we want to bring them on our side. We are so far from the Constitution many people may not even realize we have one. When trouble comes we want these people to remember what you shared with them so that they might question what they are being asked to do. It doesn't hurt.

My mom always said when raising kids. Tell them the right way, they may not appear to be listening but they are and they will do the right thing. It worked on me. Don't get discouraged because I could see you touched that man and he will start questioning things. This is a long and hard process and it won't be won overnight remember how clever they were taking our freedoms away. We have to use good judgment as well. Good luck.

This officer is a moron,

Definitely below average IQ. He doesn't understand logical reasoning very well.

ps. who the hell was farting at the 2min mark, lol?

2 min mark

That's how I felt about this conversation.

Lol,

I understand. The pig had about the IQ of a slice of pepperoni pizza.

This poor guy really needs someone to rebel against

I remember his confrontation on the porch a month or so ago. Either this kid really wants to get busted for having a gun in his dorm or he just feels an overwhelming desire to rebel but has no one of any real consequence to rebel against.

yeah...i feel an

yeah...i feel an overwhelming desire to rebel against this ridiculous system we are in. Thanks for the compliment.

Hmmm,

This makes me wonder. If the college is private property then doesn't the people who run the college have a right to decide if guns would be permitted? Just as the Daily Paul is private and Michael decides how it wants to run it.

i agree, but

This is a public University and they take an oath to support the Constitution.

I was going to ask the same thing Quilts...

OK, if it's "public" (ie. funded with stolen money), then yes there should be no infringement on the bearing of firearms.
