More progress has been made in the last two years than in the last 22 years that I have been fighting these sorry bastards.

In the past two years we have seen the further erosion of Constitutional freedoms, unemployment reaching near-record numbers, FEMA and the Military nationalizing local police forces, more banks failing than ever before, a crazy healthcare plan being trotted out, more soldiers dying in Iraq and Afghanistan, more harrassment of citizens by law enforcement, the FED shucking and jiving, the commercial real estate bubble is about to tank, and the dollar is about to begin its great descent into oblivion.

So what's the progress you're talking about?

Just Beautiful! That's the Spirit. I needed to watch this

to fuel my liberty fires before I attend another political meeting tonight. I know why I am there. I like to believe in my own small way I contribute to the movement to dismantle this bogus 'net'.

We have nothing else to lose. Our fight here is to dismantle a criminal syndicate that has used corporate constructs and bogus legal jurisdictions so the 'house always wins' and we, the people, lose.

They have cleverly used this bogus system to siphon our property, wealth, and energies. Their system makes us hampsters constantly spinning on 'their' wheels.

The 18th century saw the end of the Divine Rights of Kings.

During our current period, the people must learn/re-learn to 'exercise' their natural-born sovereignty as declared in 1776. These rights are inalienable! This means no one, but no one can take that away. It belongs to God. It has everything to do with our unique individual destinies.

Right now the way things are engineered, this man-made system 'interferes' with our God-given destinies. It attempts to 'harness' these magnificent energies for a handful of selfish interest.

RJ Harris really stood out

RJ Harris really stood out in this video. I wouldn't mind hearing more from him.

We need more liberty candidates in this video. There are some fine Dpers here who should start thinking about this. We already know more about the Constitution than the average member of Congress. And there is a supporter base in place right here.

Nicely done, but overly optimistic


Even if all the people in the video - by some miracle - get elected to Congress, they will still be in the minority. Newbie congressmen and senators have little in the way of power, influence or connections.

Ron Paul has been in congress for ten terms and he is consistently marginalized by his peers. He gets some TV time, and his relentless woodshedding of Bernanke is fantastic. But is the end of the FED truly in sight? Not to me. Right now it's a lot of earnest people calling for its end, or legislation to audit the fed. Will any of this succeed? I sincerely doubt it. Yes, Ron Paul, Schiff, and others have done well in bringing the inequities of the government, and the Federal Reserve, to light. But will it bring about lasting and meaningful change? Probably not.

Sorry to throw a wet blanket on a lovely bonfire, but I don't see the CFR, the Bilderbergers or the 'made' Washington power elite getting the boot because new blood wants a restoration of Constitutional government.

It's just too far gone now. Sorry.

Balance of Power.

If the Rs and Ds are each knocked back to a minority the liberty caucus will hold the balance of power. (And the message is close enough to the beliefs of some people in both the D and R parties that some of the existing congresscritters may defect as well, in order to get their agendas across over the opposition of the leadership.)

A tiny number can wield extraordinary power in such a situation. Their votes make or break any partisan legislation. So unless the major parties can agree, they have to court the balance-holders - whose election (and reelection) depends on satisfying their freedom-loving constituency.

And if the majors DO come together to steamroller the balance -holders, if the balance-holders reflect the will of the population the majors will pay for it in the next election.

Ron Paul showed that, contrary to the "popular wisdom", an honest statesman COULD get elected and hold office over the massive opposition of the party structures and well-funded attacks. And his candidacy brought enough publicity to bring this fact to the consciousness of a lot of voters. A small liberty caucus can show it's not a fluke, and quickly lead to a LARGE liberty caucus.

Exponentials can produce results with shocking rapidity and I think we're riding a steep one here. One "Doctor No" a year ago. Maybe eight (or more - the election cycle is young) in 2010. How many in 2012? All of the house and a third of the senate are up for election every two years. And it only takes one house of congress to monkeywrench new legislation.

I don't see the democrats or republicans losing any ground, only temporary setbacks - usually because nobody wants to compromise.

You're right about Ron Paul getting elected, but there are a couple of reasons for that. He is known and loved in his district. If he were a democrat, they'd still vote him in. He has been very successful in getting money and contracts for his district also. He has brought home the bacon, as every good congressman should do.

The same might be said for Bernie Sanders, the junior senator from Vermont. For 16 years he was in the House as a democrat socialist, the first ever in the Congress. His party affiliation didn't matter because he was smart, strong, and good for the people. They love him up there. In his own way, he is as much a maverick as Ron Paul.

All that said, I would dearly love to see the candidates mentioned in the video, and many more, win their districts so the congress would be tipped back to integrity and away from the CFR. But, sorry... I just don't see it happening. There are just too many elite CFR members who have infiltrated the government, the media, big business and the courts.

It stinks.

Too late for most of the people


Daily Paul people can all give themselves a nice pat on the back for being enlightened about what's wrong and how to fix it. But the majority of U.S. citizens are scrambling to make ends meet, keep their jobs, take care of their families and generally keep their heads above water. They are just too busy to 'wake up.'

And even if they did, what would happen? Not much, I'm afraid. The power elite have the bases covered. Too bad.

Oh, they're waking up all right. The crash and the bailouts were the first alarm - to which many hit snooze. Now the "Universal Health Care" debacle - with the implied threat of the extermination of the elderly - has thrown a bucket of water on each of their beds.

They're out with pitchforks and torches - figuratively. And with the counterattack of the union goons, rent-a-mobs, government coached truth-squads, and late-night death threats, I wouldn't be all that surprised to see them escalate to tar, feathers, and rails - literally.

Remember, during the campaigns, there were 'free speech areas?' It may come to that again, if enough people take to the streets. I do not trust our government one bit to allow people to 'peaceably assemble' for a 'redress of grievances.' I see the National Guard forcing them to disperse, as happened in the 60s almost every week. The ruling elite will let people holler at town hall meetings but everybody's being watched, photographed, monitored and identified. It's a different world now.

The problem is, and has always been, one of organization. Yes, you have hundreds of thousands of irate citizens. But are they organized into a force for change? I wish they were! But even then they'd most likely put themselves in harm's way. The ruling elite has the ability to round up, arrest and detain. They've done it before. Now they have the added ammo of The Patriot Acts and can detain anybody without a reason.

I wish it were otherwise. Honest.

I am realistic, not negative


The writing has been on the wall for a few years now. Look around. Note the growing unemployment, the dollar losing value, FEMA and the Military federalizing local police forces, the FED printing near-worthless money, the CFR running the show and so on. You've heard Ron Paul, Peter Schiff and Gerald Celente I am sure. Are they negative? No, they're realistic.

By the way, as I write this Obama is in Mexico, meeting its president (whose name I don't know) and the Prime Minister of Canada. Looks like the SSP (and maybe the North American Union) are back on track.

Sorry, it just doesn't look hopeful to me!

I'm working hard on following your lead

The only thing I disagree with you on is "a few years". It's been happening since before any of us were born. Waking up and living in it watching it get worse and worse has not been a fun way to spend 22 years. I used to think we could win, then I thought we had a chance, then I thought we had a longshot. I honestly never anticipated that the last chapter would include a controlled resistance movement and it's too much to bear. I'm tired of watching good people get suckered and there's still not enough truly awake people to help them see reality.
