I wouldn't be too happy about them supporting Schiff, there might be some kind of set-up involved in this.

Just my 2 cents.

He offered Schiff an interview. Maybe he should take him up on it.

Ed Morrissey is neoconservative, but he gave him really good coverage so maybe he's not out to destroy Schiff. Better be ready for some foreign policy questions though.

Just thinking here.. Did Dodd vote for the war? Either way that could work in his favor.

Peter is in a great position against Dodd. Could you imagine that debate??? Schiff would destroy any argument. Especially in a debate setting where he could articulate his point without being interupted.

He sure as hell called the economy and Dodd sure as hell profited from special deals from banks. If anyone can take Dodd out its Schiff.

I still think Rand has rhetoric that is more formidable than Schiff.

As soon as Schiff says something like Medicare has caused a lot of problems for us or hints that he doesn't like it, the seniors get pissed.

Rand just says we have to PAY for new programs and control the debt. None of these programs ever get paid for when they are originally passed anyway so it's just a different way of saying the same thing. Schiff could oppose government 100%, but I think he needs to tread more lightly on some of this stuff if he's really going to run a statewide campaign.

Of course I'm not a politician so idk, but we all saw what happened to Murray Sabrin. If you come across as obsessed with the freemarket, voters reject you for whatever reason. Just talk about liberty and freedom and balancing budgets.

Seems to work better in my opinion.

I think Rand's rhetoric is great for a red state, but would probably not work in a blue state. Blue state republicans usually sound more sophisticated.
