Barrack Obama Supporters plan on converging on Congressman Ron Paul's office

Many are more open minded than you might imagine.

I signed up with OFA and received the same letter encouraging visits to my Senator's office. They are scheduling people to come at different times all day, all this week, providing talking points, and encouraging supporters to not engage in debate. I'm curious how many of 14 million will participate, but Congressman Paul said he has a list of 5 million, so we should be able to send at least 1/3 as many.

is that the position is that it's better to set aside the funds for your district, because if you don't, then it goes back to the executive branch where they can spend it on whatever they want.

From what Ron Paul was saying, is that when congress sets aside the funds, at least you can have an accountability of where it goes.

So bascially yes he votes against gov't spending, but to not set aside the money for your district means it would be spent anyways by the executive branch. Plus, that money comes from tax payers in his district so technically its their money.

However, given the unparalleled roots the organization has in human resources- literally hundreds of thousands if not millions of volunteer activists- many experts maintain that it can't be viewed as a mere political organization, rather somewhat of an omnibus organization- a huge mass of citizens fighting for further power of a political individual, in the hopes that this individual, with expanded power, can bring the change they want. Thus, the mission is by definition undefined, for it largely depends on this individual, Barack Obama. As of late July, the only real mission of the organization has been using volunteers to campaign against congressmen and senators who oppose the president's agenda.

This to me looks like the message is inviting more of a one on one visit with Ron Paul. It isn't a rally, meeting, town hall, etc. It's just for you to 'drop in'?? Is it assumed that he will be there? It doesn't direct you to call the office. Maybe they do that? Probably not. Are there a LOT of supporters/workers at the office?
