Senator John Cornyn wants to know who YOU want to be the next president. (Ron Paul is on the list!)

Ron Paul makes chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, John Cornyn's, short list for the potential 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee. Let us inform him who the front runner is!

from The Dallas Morning News:

Texas Sen. John Cornyn doesn't think President Obama should get too comfy in his current occupation. In an e-mail, the chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee is asking "a limited number of hand-picked Republicans" to weigh in on who should be the Republican candidate in the 2012 elections. And after they're done casting their Republican 2009 Proxy Ballot, a "campaign investment" would also be much appreciated.

"To get this nation back on track, our Party needs candid feedback and I know I can count on you for unusually frank talk. More than ever, your Party leadership wants to hear what YOU have to say," Cornyn implores.

The list of potential presidential candidates includes Haley Barbour, Jeb Bush, Mitch Daniels, Newt Gingrich, John Huntsman, Jr., Mike Huckabee, Bobby Jindal, John McCain, Sarah Palin, Ron Paul, Tim Pawlenty and Mitt Romney. There's also a line to write-in a choice.

What's your vote? Anyone left off the list?

Does the 404 error message mean our votes didn't count?

President / VP

I am in a quandry over this one. Both Ron Paul and Judge Andrew Napolitano are the best choices. They both have accurate knowledge about and with the Constitution. They both have respect for their fellow man (yes, women are included in that).

We will need a powerful team of personal body guards for both of them.

After I vote

down under the page that comes up, under the picture, there is a 404 error message with content not found. I guess that means my vote didn't go through? Tried twice.

I voted

for Ron Paul first choice and "none" second choice.

When these people talk about the stimuls package though, I want to cuff their ears because the majority of Congress voted for it - a bill that few read and fewer had the guts to speak up against. Too late fellas!

This partsian stuff is getting old and really only appeals to those who still think that there are two separate parties with different goals.

NOT!

Haven't they figured out that people are waking up to the truth? Why do they think there is so much frustration at the Town Hall meetings?

I just don't trust their motives with polls like this. But, it was sure nice to see Ron Paul's name there. Thanks for the post.

The law cannot make a wicked person virtuous…God’s grace alone can accomplish such a thing.
Ron Paul - The Revolution

Setting a good example is a far better way to spread ideals than through force of arms. Ron Paul

I wrote in several second choices.

Rand Paul, BJ Lawson, Peter Schiff, and Andrew Napolitano.

Schiff

If Schiff wins in 2010, I think he *might* run in 2016. It will be the end of his Senate term, and he said he would only serve one term, anyway. If Dr. (Ron) Paul wins in 2012, he probably wouldn't run for a second term due to age. In that case, Schiff might run. But I'm just speculating.

Great to hear

I'm surprised that they actually put Dr. Paul on the list.

Fantastic.

They are looking for money

that is the only reason Ron Paul's name is on the list.

Oh they will get their money....

When Ron Paul is the Nominee!

Perhaps

Perhaps. But I'm not going to be sending them money, anyway. Vote and move on, I say.

right?

Only...how could they not 282 co-sponsors in the house to audit the fed is the most impressive accomplishment from any republican in washington.

I got that too!

I voted at work under my real name and email address, then I got home and did it again under my alias, and alias email address; got the same message both times. WTF?

try again?

worked just fine for me.

I just don't like giving my name and all that other information.

Why is it necessary to give that in order to vote? I have to be suspicious about everything I do anymore. I just don't see any need for all that information. Anybody else out there feel that way?

I'd send them

a copy of my Birth Certificate if they asked. I do have one...
