The Tortoise and the Hare
Submitted by BrokenRepublic on Thu, 08/13/2009 - 12:31I'm very proud to be making a difference, thanks to the mentoring of Dr. Paul. I can't help thinking that we are the tortoise, in The Tortoise and the Hare:

Dr. Paul has become profoundly wise in "handling" the
onslaught of sycophant questions that confront him. After 71 years of life, and sitting amoung congress, he has learned to survive gracefully.
He has crystaline clarity, and keeps it simple.
He is a special man, having delivered over 4,000 babies.
And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

Let me get this straight. Our enemies incrementally over
more than 100 years steal everything, take away all liberties away, kill the founding documents, and enslave us all. But we're the tortoise? Face reality man. We're the hare. And we overslept big time. You can feel encouraged all day long, but unless you get out there and make your voice heard very loudly and expose the scam, the tortoise is going to win handily. You can't fool yourself into thinking we're winning this war.

Mike: We certainly have been the "target."
That is good in the respect that we have their attention. That is also bad for obvious reasons. They have the power, money, media, and government behind them. David and Goliath comes to mind. We have the rock that is not yet quite big enough, and are as yet without a sling.
I was thinking the same thing Mike.
