Congress Matters website blasts Michele Bachmann for her "No Foreign Issued Currency" bill

HJ Res 41 proposes an amendment to the Constitution that would prohibit the President from entering into a treaty or other international agreement that would provide for the United States to adopt as legal tender in the United States a currency issued by an entity other than the United States.

The author seems to think this is Obama hatred and not a proactive step to stop an Amero or similar currency to replace the dollar.

This author must be really clueless to not see any potential for adopting a foreign currency besides the "Kenyan Shilling". SDR's, anyone?

I am convinced that the #1 reason for socialism is economic ignorance(not error, actual ignorance). Imagine pro-civil liberties and pro-rule of law democrats who understoon basic economics!
