Though, I confess, for someone who abhors cult of personality of any kind, not to mention, as someone who never uses the word, or have internal sentiment of "worship," gotta say, I do have a neutral manCRUSH on the Good Doc; for a me, that's as close as I can get to bestowing respect, bordering on veneration of the highest order, which I'm sure someone not a stickler for semantics would argue is the same thing as "worship," but I proffer humbly, beg to differ.
As far as my fellow DP'ers go, I learn something new every day, and am often humbled by their intellectual catharsis, research, independent mind, oft one of scholarly geopolitical analyses, and opinion distilled out of deep objective as well as subjective soulful enlightenment. Not to mention myriad of range of creative ideas, as well as resilience and initiative to act and organize for effect, as you all clearly deserve the thanks, along with other RP forums/blogs/petition sites, and folks at C4L for making HR1207/S604 a growing success; the paranoid light in me often blinks a whisper that the current oBUSHma making a sudden push for healthcare reform NOW, was to put HR1207 on the side burner, but who knows for sure.

To be honest though, I really should have considered this before, but I regret to say that I haven't, until Jesse Ventura brought this up. He proffers that anyone who gets elected to serve a civic office should fulfill his/her term obligations in full; he druthers one should not serve 2 years and abandon the rest of his 4 remaining years to run for the Presidency, like some alien we know... What's his name, Barry Soetero? Yeah, mon.
The moral and ethical stickler in me whispers, if the same option came up for either Dr. Ron Paul, or Rand Paul, considering how the nation is utterly devoid of ANY man worthy of the Founders' level of intellect and principled belief, as lived in real life, it'd be damn hard for me NOT to be all FOR either of them running for the Presidency in 2012, especially with the Republic on its last legs with NWO minions attacking it from ALL corners.
Rand, while I respect, will not get an automatic pass from this lad: he'd still have to PROVE his FREEDOM mettle to us.
And the Doc, I'd personally rather see him run as a Congressman. Plus, hate to sound like a DC wonk, but tactically speaking, he'd seem LESS of a political opportunist to the MSM and those whom we still need to convince to the LIGHT SIDE of the Force, and sheeple on the fence, if he remained as a Representative, and not pursue Senatorship.
Plus, even by Ventura's term fulfillment requirement, I'd surmise that it'd be definitely ethical for the Good Doc to fulfill his 2010-2012 Congressional term, while running for Presidency AND Congressnal office concurrently, as he did in his last 2008 election.
But, it's an admirable notion; as most of us respect contracts, term fulfillment is a social and civic-contract that a civil servant makes with us. I definitely think Ventura is correct in that regard; We the People do DESERVE to have OUR contract fulfilled with them serving full term in office.
But what say you, sir?
