A South Beach music promoter who has never voted is spearheading a campaign to raise $2.5 million over the Internet by Friday night for an anti-establishment candidate.
'Nobody took him seriously until we brought money to the campaign. It's a sad state of affairs,'' Lyman said in a telephone interview from New Hampshire, where he's rounding up support for his candidate before the first-in-the-nation primary (Iowa holds a caucus before New Hampshire votes.). ``This [fundraising drive] was pretty spur of the moment, so we'll see how it goes.''
If it fails, Paul runs the risk of being dismissed as a one-hit wonder, especially since his online popularity has barely surfaced in the polls. On the eve of Wednesday's debate in St. Petersburg, his support in Florida was smaller than the CNN poll's margin of error.

Democrats
Not only did George Bush and company betray and lie to all of us, teh Democrtas that we voted into Congress did the same.
America (we) "hired" these politicians to take Congress back and reel in this out of control president and his administration and they have done nothing, only talked. They also lied and betrayed every American that voted for them (me included)!
I have had it with trying to vote back and forth for the lesser of two evils. Voting for people that I pray will do what they say. Voting with my fingers crossed when I step into a voting booth.
I will not have to vote with my fingers crossed again when I cast my vote for Ron Paul. I will also keep the rEVOLution going by voting AND campaigning for other like minded politicians. It cannot end with RP, we must be diligent with our rEVOLution for ALL public held offices.
