Reverse Boycott
John Mackey, CEO and co-founder of Whole Foods Markets, wrote an op-ed piece on healthcare for the Wall Street Journal.

The piece takes a rather libertarian view of healthcare policy (god forbid!), and it made a lot of sense, but I see a gathering storm for Mackey and, by association, for Whole Foods Markets. The irony is that Whole Foods Markets has a large "progressive" customer base. Naturally, these so-called progressives are now on a tear to boycott Whole Foods, with all the usual suspects posting outraged responses. (HuffPost, et al.) How dare anyone offer an opinion not in line with their own!

I'm looking to start a reverse boycott. I'm now searching online for the nearest Whole Foods Market, I suggest you do the same.

They're all venting..And 90 percent of them will be back at Whole foods shopping as usual. As soon as one of their friends see them slumming at Safeway. Whole foods is a status symbol. What value is an elitist Liberal without status, and a reusable cloth shopping bag?
Their inflated, egotistical sense of self is all text and no action.
In the meantime, maybe I'll mosey on over to our local Whole foods and check it out again.

Whole Foods used to be Mrs Gooches, which sold Sharon's finest rella's, including hemp rella. Mrs Gooches had the employees put a sticker on top of the marijuana sticker on the rella..
Sharon's finest came under several law suits by people who claimed that they failed the piss test after eating the rella, and then Mrs Gooches came uder fire for selling it.. it was legal, but that's what happened.. Whole Foods took over 1989, 1990...
people protested Mrs Gooches and won with Whole Foods. I just don't think the customers are as "progressive" as they think. I think people are shopping there to take care of themselves and eat right.
