NPR laments the Ron Paul crazies with (shudder) guns

NPR is lamenting the open carry demonstrations at Obama's health care sales pitches.

I completly and whole heartedly support what they did

Glad they were classy, sober and respectful in Phoenix, not glad they chose the 2nd amendment for their stunt. Just as Dr. Paul is gaining more acceptability with the sheeple, why not devise a stunt around the doctor's 1207 leadership instead? Elections are popularity contests. Feed sheeple those principles we hold that will win elections for Ron, Rand and Peter.

We fought Conservatives (Neocons - "the religious right") who favored war and thus created our current recession.

We fought liberal-progressives over health-care and global warming.

"They" -- The Media, with the help of sites like Daily Paul (no blame on our administrators) have now pushed us into the Conservative Camp.

How?

Because we "support" Glenn Beck -- by more than 50%

Our Tea Partys were hijacked

Now they got us going to these assinine "rallys" with the "crazy" people -- the "abdicators" 30 years ago or 20 years ago who were voting "conservative" (neoconservative).

Universal Health Care was pushed "secretively" under Bush -- yet the phony conservatives at these rallies mixed in with a small number of Ron Paul sign holding "R3lovers" are now all "upset."

Meditate on "how they hijacked us" and got us "RPers" going to these rallies.

Have you noticed in the last month RP has been in the media less and less -- The End the Fed is nearly squashed.

The reason?

We haven't joined the right wing nuts, they have temporarily joined the cause of liberty because they can envision Obama as a tyrant although they never saw Bush that way.

Republicans are better at getting things done (whether they are right or wrong) than Democrats. Let's use this high tide of right wing energy to reach our goal of a smaller government.

When the government is smaller, politicians -- whether they are left or right -- will have less power. And that's good.

They had nothing to do with the "Tea Parties" we thru in '07 and '08.

I didn't say "we joined them" (as individuals) -- But we are at the rallies and we are holding Ron Paul signs.

And on DP we are "blitching" (blog ranting) about how the liberal media is trying to shut down the protests.

Most of these people are not RPers -- They are fear-driven people, who drove them into a frenzy? Savage - Beck - Limbaugh - Levin - Roger - Hanity.

These announcers are FINALLY making a "conservative" argument now that the biggest liberal in history (Bush) is out of office.

We are IN THIS SITUATION because of Bush-War-Policy (Neoconservative Policy). Most of the people who voted for Bush don't call themselves Neocons, but rather "conservatives."

The media says these town-hall protests are led by "crazy conservatives" (Fake Crying Beck, Crazy Mike Savage, Doped up Limbaugh, Turn-Coat Hanity, and Hanity Cabana Boy Levin).

And who else is blogging in support of these "town-hall-crazies" (who all voted for the thing that destroyed this country -- The Wars) but RPers dressed in full RP regalia (posters, t-shirts, snake-flags)

So, yes -- pretty soon -- in the eyes of America (t.v viewers -- the 97% that voted against Ron Paul) we will be the "crazies"

I get your point but I think you fail to realize that the media is, as always, creating an illusion.

The media illusion is based not on a foundation of truth but on a cesspool of lies and therefore these illusions can not stand. As Shakespeare said, "Murder will out."

Furthermore I don't believe that 97% of Americans voted against Ron Paul. Most Americans don't vote, period. Many of those who did vote never heard of Ron Paul. A growing number of folks who had heard of Ron Paul but failed to vote for him are starting to realize that he was right. October 2008 proved him to be right.

Let's use their own illusions against them like the New Hampshire open carry guy did to Chris Matthews. Matthews did an insane little dance based on his mistaken belief that the fellow was a stupid, racist, birther jackass. But that fellow was none of those things and he was therefore able to take Matthews by surprise and beat him at his own game.
