NO MORE MENTION of Money Bombs except for Dec 16th please...

Someone has already suggested a shock and awe money bomb which I think *is* too militant. If we HAVE to start throwing around a money bomb day this early before Dec 16th.... give it at least a month... preferably VALENTINES DAY FOR RON PAUL... that one day the media cannot spin against us! And it is enough time to regather supporters and money.
But until Dec 16th, I beg everyone to show the utmost restraint to bleed any donations away from the RON PAUL TEA PARTY... with all that extra energy, do a video, or email people about Dec 16th. etc. etc. etc..

Becoming completely unhinged last week and accusing anyone who donates before December 16 of being a traitor to the campaign, and getting temporarily banned for it, just wasn't enough for you, was it? Now you're back to beating the drum.

The little mini-bomb yesterday of nearly a million dollars was terrific! For you to come here the next day and freak out after a very successful day of fundraising is just silly.
I have absolutely no problems with similar efforts in the next couple of weeks. Don't worry, December 16 will be a big date. I'm quite happy for people to give today, tomorrow, the next day, or Dec. 16. I'm sure Dr. Paul feels the same way.
We are not stupid, we are not children, and we do not need a self-appointed champion of the campaign to tell us what to do and when.

What we need right now are smart, articulate people on the ground in Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire going door to door, politely requesting the support of those individuals kind enough to listen.

I hear ya Devil, with the positive effect of the USA Today ad and Ron's as usual stellar performance in the CNN circus sideshow debate donations have really picked up and it looks like we might cross the $12 million mark before the weekend of the 15th & 16th. I think the Tea Party should double up what we raised on Nov 5, so that on top of all the other money coming in for the month means a $22-25 million war chest by Jan 1.

More money bombs?
I agree that we should not talk about any more money bombs until after the 16th. Give what you can on that day and use the rest of the money to go out and spread the message. For those who are limited in terms of going out, you can just donate to the campaign instead; assuming you haven't maxed out. In my opinion, the tea party bomb will probably be the last 'big one' for the 4th quarter. Understand that most of the people that support Ron come from the poor and middle class. So, giving money can sometimes be impossible. Of course, there are some rich blokes like the one who funded the U.S.A. Today ad; however, most rich folks are either endorsing the other candidates or just do not give a damn.

Stay focused on the Tea Party
I saw a few comments on when the next money bomb should be after the Tea Party. Don't forget what the purpose is, it's to get attention for the campaign. Therefore, New Year's Eve or New Year's Day don't work, everybody's partying and watching football. Timing it to the Iowa caucus or NH primary won't work because the media will be focused on the election returns. I like MLK day because he advocated non-violent protest and dreamed of a day when we judge a man by the content of his character, which is a very libertarian concept. Plus, it's a government holiday and we want to give those federal employees in the departments of education, energy and homeland security a permanent holiday. Hey, those are the three departments Ron said he would eliminate at the CNN youtube debate. (someone correct me if I'm wrong on those three, the memory's not quite what it used to be.)

I agree again that MLK would be a great day - everyone who thinks so should email Mr. Lyman... God Bless him and Michael Nystrom... if we had to rely on the Ron Paul campaign alone we would still be stuck at 2% at best.... Our grassroots has made this campaign and no one can say differently, well except for Ron Paul.... but I would vote the grassroots over the campaign fundraisers anyday.... we have wayyyyy to many Professional people and videos behind us that blow any candidates fundraisers experience or talent away...

Hey, I know the offical next money bomb is Dec 16th, and its naturally called the Ron Paul Tea Party 2007... but how about an official Motto or Rallying call for that day.... each email we send or post or talk about on another website, end the message with:

I think after Dec 16th the campaign will be BLOATED with money and everyone will be watching for the FIRST QUARTER of 2008..... I *highly* suggest we start the next quarter off with the next bomb.... give people more than two weeks to rest... Remember it has been ONE MONTH AND TWO WEEKS from Nov 5th to Dec 16th and these things take time to make videos, send out the word, email people, etc. etc. etc... Super Money Bombs takes lots of coordination and time....

The days that get MASSIVE MEDIA ATTENTION are Nov 5th and hopefully Dec 16th.... I have seen a number of "bomblets" people just ranted and raved would be a super day and well fizzel..... $500,000 one day $300,000 another day.
The average Ron Paul supporter (not us the Paulites or Neo-Rons) will wait and donate on days they know will offer maximum impact.
Again, one last time, I have to stress that the fundraising manager for Ron Paul has frankly not done didly squat for the campaign except ride the back of the money bombs.... Mr. Badlyk does not get credit at all for the successful GrassRoots money bomb days.... so I am sure it *kills* him when we do what we do without the campaigns support.
If the campaign had ANY SENSE at all, they would jump on and official endorse the Ron Paul TeaParty 2007 but they say they cant or wont. whatever it is UP TO US THE GRASSROOTS PEOPLE to promote Ron Paul the way we see fit.... we are the radicals of the revolution!

I agree because the media is going to be watching december 16th. If people want to give they should just give. I will be donating on the 16th but when I feel like giving I just do it. The thing is we need to motivate people every month to donate. I would like to see Martin Luther Kings birth day in January be a money bomb day.

Mr. Lyman is *undoubtably* the expert in selecting days to do this. Offer your suggestion to him.... I think we should follow *his* lead on when the next OFFICAL MONEY BOMB should be created. People are following *his* lead and not the um er. fundraiser guy for Ron Paul....
Remember the fundraiser for Ron Paul does not get any credit AT ALL for the big money bomb days.. so naturally he would prefer other donation days that he can claim success for.

While he's done an incredible job to promote them, it has been a group discussion that he views, gets a consensus, and runs with it. When the original money bomb was introduced, there were numerous people on this site, and probably others, that were openly discussing a big donation day or days. He may or may not have been one of them. No question, give him credit for running with it as nobody else did. He will likely look for discussions about the next big event and expand on it and promote it. Maybe someone else will. Either way, great to have him and the many others that make this whole thing work......even D.A. some days. :)
