At least it never happened in the minds of those who never heard about it, because the media never did it’s job to tell the people about it. So, we see this is how the game is played.
This is why you get the deer in the headlights look if you should bring up news, that doesn't make the news............. That is, how do you strike up a conversation with someone, when they don’t know what the heck your talking about? Try it, you get, BLINK, BLINK deer in the headlights look.
Once again, we see our magnificent media in dereliction of duty. They did not do their job in reporting on the man made drought in the San Joaquin Valley. This has already resulted in the destruction of hundreds of farms. In case you haven’t heard, or don’t know about the San Joaquin Valley, it was once renowned as the “BREAD BASKET OF THE WORLD!” And it is now on the verge of being destroyed, and will be totally destroyed shortly, if the people do not act on this en mass, and support the farmers NOW!

Since the topic of our food never seems to be very worthy of much discussion, I'll try this from a different angle.
Look at how many people are marching in this video. Look at how many people in this area are receptive to our message.
I think many people are failing to realize this is a NOW event. It is not something that might take place further down the road. This is something to act on now while things are hot and before ALL the trees die.
I hope some Paul'ers in that area can tap some of this energy and get some of these people with us.

It was HUGH news, that once again, didn't make nearly enough news. This is were the San Joaquin problem is stemming from because the people didn't rise up to the occassion and put the breaks on it in Klamath, so these green litigation services are bringing it back to haunt us some more.
Anywayz, Klamath's water situation was doing very well, until some people with creative imaginations decided they knew how to fix things that arn't broken.........
It all started over a sucker fish that most people considered not worth eating. I believe it was in 97 or 98 that the DFG decided there were too many of them and tried to get rid of them in various ways. A couple of years later, the enviromentalist decided they were endangered and that's where everything started to take a turn for the worse.
Anyways, to make a long story short, they told a judge the fish was endangered, so they cut the water of to some ought thousand farms in the middle of growing season, most farmers didn't even know that was coming. This was after the farmers spent their time, hard work money, paying employees, etc, etc, etc. The results were so devistating to the community and the whole place changed there over night.
The farmers lost their crops that year and have been fighting various forms of so-called endangered species and environmentalist law suits ever since to keep going. Many are growing tired of it. The situation has resulted in people loosing their farms, bankruptcies, depressed area and some suicides...........
Ahhhhh, what it all basically comes down to is they want to make the area part of the "wildlands project."

Why in the h3ll are countries like Israel and Saudi Arabia converting sea water into fresh water while the US lags behind this technology? There are projects in Florida, but overall we haven't begun to utilize this technology to it's fullest. Common Sense is so lacking in this country. If people would only think it through they may come to the right conclusion.
