On September 5th...a Saturday, There will be a Tea Party at VOA Park. The location is the corner of Tylersville Road and Cox Road. Our Senators and Representatives have been invited to "listen" not to speak. We the people will have our own speakers. If you are not famaliar with this district...It is John Boehners district. This area is mostly the NeoConned and they vote heavily for Bush and other NeoCons. We need as many RP supporters as possible to attend sporting your RP gear and signs. These are the people we must educate and bring into the Liberty movement. Tell everyone you know. Be loud and proud. See you there!

This is only a few miles
This is only a few miles from where I grew up. This isn't in Cincinnati, this is either in Butler or Warren County (it's near the county line). I called my mom and this *is* John Boehner's district, the 8th district.
Could someone please tell me what time this Tea Party is? My mother would like to go.

Press release ...
Cincinnati, OH, August 25, 2009. House Minority Leader John Boehner has agreed to answer questions in a town hall setting at the Voice of America Freedom Rally on September 5 at the Voice of America Park Museum in West Chester. The Cincinnati Tea Party is also waiting to hear from the regional congressional delegation, as well as Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, Ohio Governor Ted Strickland, and Ohio gubernatorial candidate John Kasich. All received invitations to attend and answer town hall questions at the event, which will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Full congressional attendance will be announced in a future press release.
Boehner will likely respond to citizens’ concerns about health care reform and the direction of the country in general. “Health care is the dominant issue this summer and for good reason. Families and small businesses are already spending too much for it and costs just keep going up,” said Boehner in a recent column on his website. “If our goal is to spend a lot of money for lousy results, a government takeover of health care will do just fine.”
Rally planners expect the turnout to be huge and the message to be loud and clear. “Our elected officials work for the people and I am glad that Minority Leader Boehner has stepped up to the plate to answer questions at the largest town hall in America. I expect that the questions will be tough but fair.” The Cincinnati Tea Party’s grassroots membership is spreading the message that, “We love the country our Founding Fathers left to us and we will not watch it be destroyed.”
America’s voice will be heard on September 5, as it was during World War II, from the historical site of wartime broadcasts that were heard around the world. The very first VOA program in 1944 began, “We shall speak to you about America and the war. The news may be good or it may be bad, but we will tell you the truth. About the Cincinnati Tea Party
The Cincinnati Tea Party is a grassroots, nonpartisan group opposed to wasteful government spending. Our core values are fiscal responsibility, limited government, and free markets. Our goals include influencing elections for the betterment of America, promoting state sovereignty (Federalism), and compelling our elected officials to comply with the Constitution as written by our Founders. The Cincinnati Tea Party was founded by a group of lifelong Cincinnatians in February 2009. In April 2009, Community Tea Parties were launched to allow local leaders to spread the core values at the neighborhood level.

Thank you, thank you, rhino!
Thank you, thank you, rhino! My mom doesn't do the internet at all. She also only drives short distances, but this is SO close to her house that she will definitely go to this.
When I was growing up there the Voice of America was still broadcasting...it was an amazing array of antennas and wires, and you couldn't enter the property because it belonged to the US Government. Also, when you drove by, no matter what radio station you had on, the VOA broadcast (always in some foreign language) would come in instead. I guess the WLW tower is still there?
My how things have changed in that part of the world...that area was all farmland when I was growing up there, and now it's all developed. Sigh...

Wish there will be one in LA
right in front of the FED building preferably.
While I am not going to take back anything I said below ...
This thread needs to be bumped. There is an estimate floating around locally that between 11,000 - 15,000 citizens are going to be there.

The Cincinnati Tea Party Group...
is the sponsor of the event...and VOA Park is the location they chose.
Driehaus and Shit have been invited to listen.
VOA is in Westchester and that is District 8....John Boehners district.
My, my...a bit picky aren't we.
I am not a big fan of the Cincinnati Tea Pary group ...
First and foremost, they are a big fan of war and the status quo of our foreign policy.
Second, they have not said word one regarding 1207.
Third, the swastikas are abundant at their gatherings.
Fourth, the founder lives in KY not OH. That redefines grass roots.
Fifth, they have endorsed Chabot without concessions.
The first thing that I have liked about it is when you just substituted shit for schmidt. That was awesome.
