Getting correct on the War issue...(a message to Republicans)

As any Patriot could predict.... if you take away the people's guns, only criminals (and the underpaid police and corrupt military) will have guns.

That is what happened. Take a look at any Latin American city pictures of buildings & houses in say 1965 ....and then compare the same city pictures taken of the same buildings & houses in say 1975.

One striking difference will be the BARS-ON-Windows look. So, if history is to be an example, should we loose our right to own guns here, we should all invest in the decorative Iron Bar business....as business will be booming to keep the criminals out.

Now compare the simple BARS-ON-Windows look of any Latin American city in 1975 to those in 1995. What is different?

Answer... the distance. Yes the distance it takes to reach the house. This is because criminals soon found they could simply reach through the bars, break the glass window, point the gun inside and scream "Open the door or I will start shooting everywhere!" People would open the door and invite the crime inside.

So by 1995, home made gate designers looked for ways to make the entrance gate, far away from the front door. Further, brick walls in backyards were colorfully designed with a layer of cement along the top that held broke bottles whose jagged edges knifed up to the sky. Cats where not to happy but the owners felt "reassured".

This is not the first time that house design was made with burglars in mind. In Arab countries, where married men kept their 1, 2, 3, or 4 wives always inside, these men had immense jealous fidelity worries on top of their problems to keep their wealth. You see, when a society legalizes polygamy, then approximately 20% of the male population goes without any chance of getting a woman or fathering children... but in the next life you see (the rich man teaches)... ....lol So the Arab home was made with the Walls without windows and the single door entrance only about 4 foot tall. This is not because in ancient times Arabs and Persians were short, this is because in order to enter, one had to bend at the waist as one entered....making for a swift strike to the neck to lop off the head in a single blow....

I am sorry I cannot find the law link in foreign policy, however, if you keep looking you will find it... now that you know what to look for.

His actions, and Bush Sr's actions in Latin America are deplorable. Both did things no libertarian would do. But there is a difference, even if you say, ...interventionism is interventionism is interventionism.... and that is, Reagan took these actions with the aim of American Security first. Bush Sr took his interventionist actions with the aim of a NWO and protection other nations such as Kuwait.

Lets not forget that the NEOCONS hated Ronald Reagan's foreign policy. They wrote article after article against him. Another great place to start is Sheldon Richman over at the future freedom foundation. He is a libertarian scholar who looked at the whole issue from a libertarian property rights issue, and an added bonus is that Richman is an American Jew so that helps deflect some of the anti-Semitic knee jerk responses that usually come when disusing the nation of Israel.

Goldwater, like Ronald Reagan, is easily twisted by the neocons as an interventionist. He was certainly worried over Stalin/Brezhnev Soviet Russia with its nukes, but he was a PROTECT AMERICA -- not the Whole World Guy. Johnson rode the wave of sympathy following JFK assassination and put out a campaign video showing a little girl smelling a yellow flower and then in the background a nuclear bomb going off... and asking, whose finger do you want on the red nuclear button? Johnson's campaign propaganda worked... they painted Jewish American Barry Goldwater as a racist-war monger... and today it still sticks in the liberal circles. Goldwater lost more than any other presidential contender. But in fact, history shows it was Johnson who had no problem bombing civilians from 33,000 feet. Johnson longed to win the Vietnam war (in fact, I personally believe it was JFK's realization that Vietnam was a civil war being used by Russia & USA to further their goals that started to call into question or started to reverse our military foreign policy direction, that lead to his assassination. It could be started by something as simple as "something must be done" and then all agreeing and then all going about their business to do their part in "doing something" that lead to the JFK assassination. Did Johnson "do it"? I have no idea. But I think that 'conspiracies' especially "soft conspiracies" are unnoticed by even the conspirators. In my own little league board, it was collectively thought "it would be good if" the president stepped down. The president did step down, but what did it? Each board member said, "I didn't "cause this" to happen." But the league president goes on to say "there was a conspiracy to get me out, and they succeeded".
