Number 2 is CO2 at 3-5%. Water vapor makes clouds. If the earth heats up, oceans evaporate and make thicker clouds that block the sun and thus cool things off. Clouds that are bigger make rain or snow and will later decrease in size due to cooler temperatures and precipitation. The cycle then repeats itself.

Now it is true that the oceans have absorbed CO2 with time thereby reducing the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere, but so have plants. Plants breath CO2 and expire oxygen. We breath oxygen and expire CO2. The is called a symbiotic relationship. Global warming by CO2 seems minuscule when compared to the water vapor effect on temperature.

This is the way I understand all of this, granted very simplistically, but realistically as well.

I remember him as the great weatherman on Flynn/Daly News in Chicago late 60s, early 70s when I was in school there. I always wondered what he was up to and it is nice to see him doing much greater things now. Chicago is so large that the weather was different in the city vs the "boonies" and "superboonies" as Coleman described the suburbs. John, I hope you kick Algore's butt.

They need to whip up another really big hurricane if they want to keep this global warming swindle going. Sure, it was easy to persuade people about global warming in the aftermath of Katrina, but the shock of that is wearing off.
