And if you BELIEVE that one... you just might believe that Muck Huckalugee is gonna be Dr. Paul's VP choice.....NOT!!

Its pitiful how these GOP big wigs are in denial and think they are talking to morons who belive anything.. Reminded me of Ari Fliesher shaking his head in a negative about Dr. Paul saying that come voting day... there won't be anything there....LOL!!! ok... I suppose a slick computer program could arrange that... but I doubt it can make his supporters PHYSICALLY DISAPPEAR

Expose the Fraud....

My feeling that an unrelentless exposing of fraud, lies and cheating must be accomplished in a rational but strong way.

The only way that the news people, the Republican con artists, those counting the votes and all the others of nefarious intent can stop what they are doing is for people of good will - that is all the Ron Paul supporters working together for a common goal - to do their part whenever they see this happen and never cease to expose it.

The ball must not be dropped. Those who perpetrate it must be held to task. If it is an illegal action such as voting fraud, a libelous article, etc., the proper steps should be taken to correct it. We should never let these issues go unchallenged as Ron Paul has never let issues go unchallenged for the lenghth of time he has been fighting the good fight in Congress.

We all have to work together to let those with the power know that their highjinks will not be tolerated and if they have done something illegal they will be prosecuted for it.

It's one thing to be justifiably angry as I think we are, merely by the fact that we are promoting Dr. Paul who fights for us in his own way, but it's another to be foulmouthed and abusive. That is what turns many confused people of good will away from voting for him. Sometimes we have to raise our voice and become angry - witness Dr. Paul at the debates - to get our point across, but there is a way to do so that it is effective.

When our forefathers were fighting for their freedom facing almost insurmountable odds and the enemy, I don't think that they had displayed some of the surly attitudes and language that we face today; yes they were angry and we saw their anger in their writings, but it was an anger not littered with foul language!

Republican officials????

I like this mention of republican officials in article -- anonymous..... LOL

so republican officals are against Ron Paul.... no news there!

Why?

Why would this be a big deal?

Didn't Mitt Romney do the same thing in Iowa?

HAHAHA

He says "what is more imporant is who came in 2nd and 3rd..."

HAHAHHA what a retard.

Get the Facts!

Those folks arrived not by bus, but by blimp.

I personally presided over the first of the most IMPORTANT polls in NH and my close friends and GOP officials counted the votes in the other two. Paul won all three hands down.

Were all the people voting for Paul local or from around the State?

Around the state, although

Around the state, although all kind of within a 200 mile radius of arlington.

That can be a problem come

That can be a problem come primaries. We can't get him a nomination unless we get enough LOCAL voters in each individual district.

I called and left a message. The author lists his office number. I wanted to talk to him one-on-one, but he didn't answer his phone. You can call this number and leave a message:

Ron Paul is my hero :)

Let them think it

Let them think that for all these places where he gets such positive uproarious noise that it's the same 40,000 people that are bussed.

The primary will tell

my letter

Dear Mr. Whitley-
"Paul bused in young supporters." Do you have any proof to back up that statement? If you cannot produce any evidence to back up that statement will you write a retraction?
Thank you for your time,
Dan

(to my fellow Paul supporters, do not use foul language and act like morons please. Thanks)

My letter, from Dale in Iowa...LOL

Hello,

I don't know who wrote the article about the straw poll, but it was a piece of trash. I would like to see a picture of a single "bus" that brought in Ron Paul supporters. That is slanderous reporting that is on the verge of libel. When will you assholes get it through your thick skulls that the American people are sick and tired of being told to vote for the least of two evils. We want our country back and Ron Paul is the only person who will help us do that. The fact that you say the poll isn't important, and that we should concentrate on who came in second and third?..what the hell? The article states that straw polls are for activist and people who are really into this election..so I think who came in first with a clear majority of votes would be very important to the GOP. Like I said the American people are through voting for candidates who all offer the same WarState/PoliceState/WelfareState politics that is leading our country to financial disaster. MSM calls Ron Paul and his supporters kooks because we don't conform to the upcoming Socialist States of America, and we love and respect the God given Constitution. Why don't you just come out and tell the American people that the GOP is now just the Second Degree Democratic CFR party of the present and future? When the GOP remembers what makes up its base values and principals and returns to them, perhaps then you will have a chance at a presidency with one of your little ken dolls, but until then the People are going to elect Ron Paul. And you can concentrate on who comes in second or third, that is what's important right?

This is an example

of what NOT to write.......take note people

...good lord

Thanks for the disservice of increasing the negative stereotype of "Ron Paul supporters"

Watch your language, and stop calling people morons. There is no benefit to saying things that way.

*ALERT* IMHO...you place yourself at the same level as them when you talk this way. To lot of us, and to others...

Guess we should split up

Maybe we can have the group that pledges not to use the word asshole, and then the group that sits down and writes nicey letters to people who slander, lie, and discount the raging support of Ron Paul. But as for me you can bite my ass.

You write what you want

I don't agree with name calling, but I support your use of the word "Ass hole" to describe a filthy and scummy lying SOB.

I'm going to have to pass on

I'm going to have to pass on the offer to make oral contact with your posterior.

If your goal was to make the person you wrote to angry, resentful, and unwilling to ever change their mind, then you probably succeeded.

If you goal was to sway their opinion and prevent them from running any further anti-paul piece, then you failed miserably.

When you use inflammatory grammar in your email, you are not frightening, embarassing, or causing a consideration of your views by the person you emailed. What you are doing is confirming their opinion and embarassing your peers.

If you are going to write to someone like this in the future, please carefully consider what you would like to say and try to do it in a civil tone. We don't need any more people against us. We are winning. Let's don't stop the momentum.

I would rather be exposed to the inconveniences attending too much liberty than to those attending too small a degree of it.
Thomas Jefferson, 1791

!

If you write a letter don't go over the top. relax and make your points minus the inflammatory rhetoric.

Quit censoring and being an idiot, hows that

I'm sick and tired of everyone jumping on people for not sitting down and writing an eloquant letter. Who the hell are you my old High School English teacher? Guess what this is a grass-roots operation and that means we are who we are. I could have called him a bitch-face which is my favorite word to use for liars who write slanderous things about people whom I respect. Maybe you get all smooth and glittery when things like this happen, but myself, I am tired of this crap. And if I care to use the word asshole then so be it. Go cry somewhere to someone who gives a crap about your judgmental self. I personally don't. Have a good day!

As Peewee Once Said,

Go ahead and scream your head off. There's no one around for miles!

maybe

You should settle down and heed the advice of your peers, you aren't *HELPING* ANYTHING. All you do is make the author go "and that...is why I dont care"

That's hilarious!

We're going to see how many people we can "Bus" to the Oklahoma State Capital today for a Ron Paul rally! We hope it makes the news and our speakers will be one of the Paul sons, and a few of our Oklahoma reps who are backing Ron Paul for President!

Wish us luck!!

Great day to all!

It's not libel its just bad

It's not libel its just bad journalism...

I've e-mailed the author.. was at the straw poll, no busses going on. Just good fun!

Does anyone check the facts anymore? Isn't this libel

When a reporter reports what are, in fact, lies... isn't there recourse? I think it could be proven that this is or could be intended as harm. Especial since he mentioned Ron Paul by name. As supporters, you spent money to vote in the straw poll didn't you... and as a campaign...isn't Dr. Paul spending money to influence voters... I think this guy has a problem! A legal problem...if someone holds his feet to the fire...

Laughable!

Ron Paul doesn't bus in supporters to straw polls. Neither Ron Paul's campaign nor Ron's supporters fix straw polls like Mittens. "Paul has been concentrating on winning straw polls all over the country"?? LMAO! The only thing Paul is concentrating on is spreading the message of freedom and liberty. We The People heard the message and are going to the straw polls of our own free will to support Ron Paul and the message. I hope some of the folks that went to that straw poll feel outraged enough to respond to the author of that article and more importantly to the editor of the paper.

VA Straw Poll - no buses, just individual supporters

I was at the VA straw poll. Everyone I talked to had decided to come on their own - alone or maybe with one friend. For many it was their first event after joining a meetup. I did not see or hear about any RP buses. If there were any, I did not meet any RP supporters who came on a bus. The RP supporters ranged in age from young to middle-aged (and older) professionals - eg, investment banker, real estate broker, graphic designer, internet marketer, federal employee, state employee, ex-military [several], retired, etc - from all around the state, including hours away.

I did not meet any actual students for RP, although I did meet some nice young people from Liberty University who had all been bused in to support Huckabee and Thompson.
