I spent all day crying, and building an alter in my bedroom. It has a thousand candles, and I will keep them lit until the day I join him in that big limo in the sky.
The candles raise the temp in my bedroom about 50 degrees, but it is a small price to pay for Uncle Teddy. I look at it like I am taking a sauna for a good cause.

Interesting responses
First, I am surprised by the viciousness of the attacks by some of the other posters. Many are mean-spirited and just vile. If you didn't like Kennedy or his policies, that's fine. But I really am taken a little aback at the unadulterated venom. Ron Paul would certainly not say such things.
Ted Kennedy was not a perfect guy by any means, but I heard a speech once where he talked about his back operation. It was expensive. He realized, and stated, that his wealth allowed him to have the operation. And that millions of others could never have afforded it, or get decent medical care. He was sincere. This prompted him to push for national health care, medicare, etc.
Now, we may agree with Ron Paul, that the U.S. has no business being in the business of health care, or education. And Kennedy could not have forseen the debacle the health industry turned into. But medicare works; it helped my mom.
That's it.

I grew up in Berkeley Heights NJ, and I walked past the Kopechne house every day on my way to school.
Our whole town was in shock after Ted Kennedy killed her, and then covered it up, and used his "influence" to get off the measly little charge that they even charged him with, and then had the records "sealed" for 75 years so nobody could look into it.
This evil creature was a cold blooded murderer.

When I think about Ted I also think about the small children and innocent people like you and me, in other countries that just died and who never had a chance or never did anything to deserve their demise. How can you even be more concerned for one human life over the other? Ted died at the average life expectancy, riding on the coat tails of his family tree as opposed to someone who just got blown into one hundred thousand pieces at the age of five, so no I do not feel so bad for him.
