Missing Tahoe girl found after 18 years!

The mystery of what happened 18 years ago to the freckled face, gapped tooth 11-year-old girl who was snatched by strangers off the street near her South Lake Tahoe home in 1991 has come to an end.
And while Jaycee Lee Dugard is alive, El Dorado County sheriff’s deputies revealed a story Thursday that alleged the girl was abducted, held captive in a suburban Bay Area backyard since 1991, and impregnated twice by her captor.
Dugard was reunited Thursday with her mother, Terri Probyn, in Northern California. Details of that reunion were not disclosed.
Arrested were Phillip Craig Garrido, 58, a paroled rapist who was convicted in Reno in the 1970s, and his wife, Nancy, 55.

I've noticed an alarming trend of these in NorCal
I'm not sure why this keeps happening in NorCal, but there was the boy chained to a fireplace who escaped and then the Lady accused of sexual assualting an 8 year old, both in or close to Tracy CA and now this one.

This "heartwarming" claim seems to be typical of child molesters, such as NAMBLA, who somehow feel that the kids benefitted from having sex with them.
Of course, to the rest of us it doesn't matter if Garrado took this girl to Disneyland every day of the past 18 years. There's nothing heart-warming about what he did to her parents. It is, of course, possible that, having been abducted at age 11 and having been brainwashed by this pair for 18 years, the girl may not realize how abnormal her life has been, but that only makes the crime more hideous.

in no way condone what happened to this poor girl & Im not going to say she has her life ruined, she just has a different life experience than the rest of us. We are not born to live any kind of particular life & not everybody gets here the same way & theres nothing wrong w/ that. Some of us, very few, get here by rape/ incest & although that makes the act bad, it doesn't make our presence a sin, some by parents who chose life for us under disparate circumstances, & some have adoptive parents b/c their other just couldn't handle them. Some of us grow up very poor, not what this girl experienced, but we think its the pits, again that doesn't make our existence a sin & doesn't mean we should've been aborted just b/c our birth circumstances weren't perfect. She wasn't physically abused that we know of & neither were her beautiful children, although its fair to say she didn't receive proper prenatal care. Lets stop calling this a sin b/c its not a sin for her children to be here, there's a good possibility her parents/ her would have wanted her to have an abortion, not pregnant w/ that man's children, we're the 1s that call rape/ incest a sin even though they produce children which aren't a sin. There are worse things that could've happened to her, shes ok, she'll recover, it sounds like. I'm sorry her captors didn't know better than not to confess to the police, we naively believe the police exist to help us & all they exist to do is put us in handcuffs, whether we need to be in them or not, they will even lie to us w/out a conscience in order to get us there if they think it'll work. I would support prison sentences, but too many have been wrongfully convicted & if their terms weren't so long to begin w/ they wouldn't have had to stay in so long & had their life ruined. I'm glad this girls home, I hope her children are told 1 day who their father is & how they came to life & her parents/ her have a rational explanation for why what he did was a crime & how they're not a crime. She doesn't honestly think she can keep this story from her children, does she? I'm scratching my head at how babies can be evil, maybe I ought to ask the Sheriff's Dept..

I am trying to be polite, but must say you seem lacking in empathy or even minimal powers of deduction of what this woman suffered through l8 years.
She was held in slavery all that time. Jerked away from a loving family, forcibly held, emotionally traumatized, rendered helpless, treated as an animal, raped as a little child, not given minimal medical or dental care all that time, apparently receiving almost no sunshine the entire time, no education, zero freedom...

As someone who has attends Narcotics Anonymous meetings and has many recovering addicts as friends I can tell you without a doubt 90% have been SEXUALLY ABUSED at some point in their lives. IF 90% admit it, the real figure is closer to 100%. If even 75% in recovery have been Sexually abused what is the percentage of current drug and alcohol dependent individuals who were abused at some point in their lives? Out of my ADULT friends more than 50% were abused by a baby sitter or older family friend (5+ year difference).

The question about how he went unnoticed became more pressing Friday when Garrido came under suspicion in the unsolved murders of several prostitutes in the 1990s, raising the prospect he was a serial killer as well. Several of the women's bodies — the exact number is not known — were dumped near an industrial park where Garrido worked during the 1990s.

here in Sweden some girls was held for a long time and being subject to nasty things at a house..they finally fled and my girlfriends sister and father found them took them home to shower and called the police..I hope they are ok today..It was quite a famous case here..
