truth about polls

Forget talk of landlines, cell phones, inclusion in the poll being conducted or only registered Republicans being polled.

The truth is…

The ONLY and I mean ONLY people being polled are those Republicans that voted in the 2004 Republican primary. Yes you read that correctly, that voted in the 2004 Republican primary.

They still have the primary even if the party has an incumbent. It is a technicality and is a time when only the most diehard supporters/activists come out for a symbolic hooray, in this case it was the diehard Bushies in 2004. Those are the only people being polled.

If you don’t believe me call the campaign and ask them yourself and then ask them why they aren’t making an effort to clarify this point.

Ron Paul will win, not just Iowa but the nomination too

Just a quick fact. Howardeen was dominating Iowa before in Caucuses in 2003-2004 and John Kerry was nowhere near to him and in this November Huckabee went up from nowhere. This shows the volatility of Iowa.

One thing I would like to remind you that most of the companies that conduct polls are given the numbers of those who voted last time around and those who voted were pretty supportive to the war and they are not likely to be voting for Ron Paul anyway. Most of the Ron Paul supporters are either newly reigstered Republicans, anti-war Republicans, and Republicans who didn't vote last around. Also remember that only 6.6% Republicans voted last time around.

Given the facts stated above and the fact that the numbers for Ron Paul are moving up steadily and the fact that he is all set to out-raise "top-tier" for Quarter 4, RON PAUL WILL WIN!

At least they mentioned him

The Des Monies Register didn't even mention Ron Paul's fund raising on November 5th so at least they have to talk about him running even with McCain. Why is Huckabee raising so fast? He can't raise the money Romney or Rudy do and hasn't the grass roots that Dr. Paul has, its very weird that he is now leading.

"In short, you see, the essential is to cease being free and to obey, in repentance, a greater rogue than oneself. When we are all guilty, that will be democracy. Without countering, cher ami, that we must take revenge for having to die alone. Death is so

Bogus Polls

There is a vid on youtube where it says that only 6.6% of republicans are polled. Those 6.6% were the people who voted for Bush in the primaries of 2004.

good trend - support still underrated

the fact that paul is rising in the rankings is *really* encouraging. it means more "mainstream" folks are getting the message, but of course, as well all know, these polls are not reflecting the support dr. paul has among disaffected voters, young people, non-landline households, etc. i would expect rep. paul to receive probably *double* the support in the iowa caucus that his poll numbers reflect. 15% or more wouldn't be shocking to us, but it would be VERY shocking to the tv and newspaper folks.

i would expect him to be

i would expect him to be much higher ... don't pay attention to those propaganda polls ... they don't even include ron's name most of the time ... just look at how they showed huckabee with 1 million and in first place

Ignore the polls.

They are tools of propaganda. They are meant to demoralize and make us believe we can't win. The poll that matters is on primary day. Keep fighting hard and we win.

What we can learn from the

What we can learn from the polls is that Ron Paul is gaining momentum. Their numbers are not accurate, but the trend of Ron Paul continually polling higher and higher reflects reality.
