DMV Health Care? Really?

I've had some ridiculous experiences with the DMV lately, I explain in-depth here:

To get an appointment for a behind-the-wheel driving test in my area in CA, I was told that the best method was to wait until midnight and then try to set an appointment for one month out. The three DMV centers closest to my area are completely booked for the next month, whether you try to set an appointment online, by phone, or in person. So for now, staying up until midnight trying to set an appointment is my only option.

And WHY do people want a DMV of health care?

The reason being: Most of the state DMV's are complying

with the REAL ID ACT and they have such a glut of information to enter, not to mention the facial recognition cameras and software (so they can share our facial imaging with China and other countries).
But I certainly agree---what do people think the health plan will fix? It will be such a backlog.
