Then stuck on headlines and old news, though, even those are much more informative than what one would find on any MSM or "alt.media" sites.

Why should I mistrust RT or any other foreign media in comparison to state-controlled US media? Since the state has been co-opted from serving the people to serving the interest of trans-national financial institutions I view corporate-owned mass media as an instrument of the state.

Like anything in life, one develops a proper skill for proper discernment of info, based on their intellect and type and extent of life experience. Like meeting and making friends, it's a risk everyone consciously makes, when one decides to live: one entangles with people, info, and influence that did not originate out of one's own self.

As such, while a politician, Ron Paul's voting records and near 30yrs of public service in which his actions have PROVEN to be that of a public SERVANT, and not an egomaniaical NWO sycophant, thus proving himself a Statesman, and not a mere politician.

And, as such, while a former Naval attache to NSA, an analyst, a spook, like Philip Giraldi, also a former CIA spook and on Ron Paul's 2008 Pres.Advisory team, Wayne Madsen has proven to be a man of integrity as far as record of his reporting is concerned, RT, or not.

Plus, ask any former intel agent, like Rob Baer, Roberte Steele, and Ray McGovern, whom used to give Presidential Daily Intel Briefings, damn near 85% of their intel comes from publicly available sources: ie. connecting the dots and reading in between the lines. As the joke goes with the Ruskies' old Pravda of the Soviet years, if you read the front page, page 53, and the back covers, somewhere in between, one can actually find the truth.

Of course, no one truly "knows" anyone for real, least of which those we observe from a far, or other public figures, unless one personally knows them. As far as I am concerned, the best one can do is go with your own personal gutcheck and intellect developed and distilled from informed discernment.

As with all these things, it's self-evident. I read and watch Amy Goodman and Democracy Now, I read RawStory, HuffingtonPost, DailyKos, Real News Network, The Nation, Mother Jones, CounterPunch.org, TruthDig, Infowars, Mike Rivero, Gerald Celente, Bob Chapman, Steve Quayle, Graham Hancock.com/news, Peter Schiff, Gary Franchi, G.Ed.Griffin's newsletters, NewsWithViews, Mises.org, LewRockwell.com, Taki, Am.Conservative, NewsMax, World Net Daily, etc. However, I view all of it with the same eye: an initial skepticism, until verified to my own criteria of satisfaction.

Besides, of all the new "alternative" media on the verge of mainstream, Russia Today, for better or for worse, has been MUCH more fair to the Good Doc than CNN, MSNBC, CNBC, FakeNews, FakeBizNews, or 3 regular TV net. Like coming on anything Murderdoch's empire, a double edged sword: we take Ron Paul's exposure with the knowledge that the only reason why they're letting him on is because in their minds it works to be a proper "opposition" against Dems, good for their ratings and with his growing populist support legitimizes their network, while we take that in exchange for a chance at just one idiot sheeple waking up to the REAL truth and facts. Oddly enough, if America did not have a history of such utter murderous and illegal use of mercs, from Hessians of the American Revolution, the Civil War, continuing onto modern times with the Pinkertons hired by Henry Ford to machinegun down Detroit auto unions during the early 1900's and more ramped up during the Korean War and Vietnam to now, IF we actually had a situation that required a genuine use of "Letters of Marque and Reprisals," I would not have ANY problems with their existence, use, or employment by private individuals and companies, though NOT by gvt.

Yeager is perhaps, currently the best known former merc, with full operational battlefield experience, ie. actually got to say "tango down" in real life, who is currently teaching both military and civilian students at his tactical training center in Camden, Tennessee. I would highly recommend their program, as well as their videos, if one wants to be fully sufficient in the use of arms in surviving a real tactical defense situations. I'd also highly recommend FrontSight.com, Rob Pincus' ICE-Training.us, Garbe Suarez in AZ, and Chris Costa at MagPul Dynamics, for a different take on tactical defense, as well.
