I sent a YT link to my local Fox affiliate and
I sent this to my local Fox affiliate and asked why we aren't seeing this story here in Hou.
I urge everyone to do the same, also to the networks, local papers, etc...
Maybe some good can come from this horrific situation if we all raise enough stink about it?

My great aunt
is now 86..she lives by herself..and has for the last 10 yrs(after her husband died)...she cooks..cleans her house..does her yard work and gives 1 day a week to help the poor..even though shes poor herself...and gives 2 days a week to her church..the rest of the week she keeps busy helping others...they'd play hell putting her in a home....she'd beat the tar out of them.
Freedom is another way to God...A corrupt government is a straight way to hell.

this is a nursing home scam. I doubt the state is scrambling to put people in nursing homes who can't pay for it.
Next time, they'll pick on someone without connections to the press.

They look like they could have used a home health care nurse to pop in once a week & check in on them at there own cost- but this is ridiculous. I have to say tho that the lady who claimed to have been the wife's "best friend" should be ashamed. I believe this couple were isolated and bullied. That wouldnt have happened if some friends or family...ANYone... came to the plate for them and said "um thanks ,State...we'll take it from here and make sure they dont burn the house down."

The only help those people need is the help they ASK for.

So what if they blow all their money, use "poor judgment," even get hurt? It's THEIR LIFE!!!! How can a prison situation be in their best interest?
Because that's what government "experts"
say? They seemed competent to me, their home was well cared for before the government booted them out of it and left it abandoned. They apparently paid their bills, were eating healthily as many Americans.
No, the government can never be given powers to decide who is or isn't competent. It will abuse such power always. Should even insane people be rounded up and imprisoned if they threaten no one? Why don't all people have the same rights to choose for themselves?

Home health aids are $20/hr - $25/hr. If they hired an aid for a few hours a day, the aid could cook and clean, as well as assist him physically. The husband could have chosen to do that with his money if he found he couldn't handle their problems anymore, and the hospital should have provided him with that information. Their state may even have home health aid financial assistance programs to help if they were poor.
