THE MARK = THE REAL ID

The Real ID is coming soon, May-Dec 2008, I will not be one to take this mark, will you? If not, what do you plan on doing for food, job, cash, shelter, transportation? Without the Real ID you will not be able to drive, have a bank account, a job, seek medical attention, allowed into federal and soon public buildings among many other restrictions.
Greek for mark is chargma. The root of chargma is card. In turn making “the mark”, the card. Just like Nazi’s did along with IBM during WWII to “mark” the prisoners. They used a punch “card” system. IBM is behind the Real ID and the RFID VeriChip. As they are the parent company. History is repeating itself before you… are you watching?
The Patriot Act (I & II) has nothing to do with being patriotic. Actually its about removing anything that allows you to be a patriot. Great example is Habeas Corpus. Soon you will see the draft start up again, for all those 18-42, male and female. You will see the collapse of America and a military dictatorship come to power. Why do you think they don’t want our troops to come home? That many more that can’t resist what they are about to do. Yet today we have Russian, German and other countries soldiers on our land in so called training missions. Training on how to over take towns. Americans won’t fire on Americans, but soldiers from other countries won’t think twice. They will see us as the enemy, that’s that.
Realize why the auto industry has just about collapsed. Why the housing market was inflated in ensure it collapses, as it is now. Realize why the stock market is going up in record numbers even though the no.1 and 2 industries in America are hitting rock bottom. Realize why gold has tripled in the past 5 years. Realize that there is a draft bill and a war with Iran already on the books.

New License in Washington State has RFID.
So do all new US Passports since October 2006.
Vermont, New York, Texas, New Mexico and Arizona are getting ready to issue too. They call them Enhanced Drivers Licenses. The RFID chip is readable up to 50 feet. It contains a unique ID number.
Many new credit cards called contactless cards or by brand names such as Visa Wave (Visa), PayPass (MC), ExpressPay (Amex) have shorter read range RFID chips in them. Your number, Name, and Expiration date can be read remotely. The larger the antenna the longer the range. A 2 inch antenna up to 4 inches. A 12 inch antenna much further.

i was glad to read about all the state legislatures that have risen up against the REAL ID. however, upon closer inspection it seems that the main argument being used against it is that it is an expensive unfunded mandate. i'm afraid that all the federal govt needs to do is throw a few million federal reserve notes at each state and it will go over just fine with most of them.
i fear too that as the timeline gets drawn out, people will forget why they opposed it, they will used to the idea, it will slowly creep up on us, and before we know it, pretty much everyone will have just gone along with it. already, a quick poll of my friends suggests that they despise the idea and will hold out against getting the ID... until they find that they need it. this is what they say.

I intend to follow the lead of the British, who are very vocally opposed to their own imminent national ID. A sizable percentage of the public have suggested that they will not accept the ID, and there's even a member of Parliament who has vowed to go to prison if necessary rather than accept it (I've lost that link, sadly).
Every time I read the words "national ID," I visualize an SS officer stopping me and demanding my papers. There is no argument on earth that will compel me to comply with that. They will have to physically hold me down to fingerprint me, scan my iris, pluck hairs for DNA, or whatever else they intend to do. I will throw my life away over this issue. I am dead serious.

so you like the idea of Real ID and you oppose the 2nd amendment right that guarantees the right to keep and bear arms... I don't agree, but that's ok. I can respect your beliefs. I am curious though, what issue was it that made you become a Ron Paul supporter. Economics? War? Abortion? It looks like 4th amendment right to privacy and 2nd amendment are out as reasons. I'm not baggin on you, I am genuinely curious. Thanks.

Athiests, and Christians, Muslims, etc etc... Have all gotten along here for a very long time because we all respect each other's right to believe differently.
I am an athiest and do not bash any religion here, and so far I have not been been bashed for being an athiest.
I don't go around arguing with peoples beliefs, and others show the same respect. If I see a Christian conversation, I may add comment, but if I do so, it will be on my knowledge of the scriptures in the Bible and NOT to push my own beliefs. And vice versa, so far, I have not had a single Christian, Muslim, etc try to convert me or tell me I am going to hell, etc...

everyones commitment to this Real ID. You have all the right in the world not to want it. I respect this view. Grant me the simple right to embrace it in return, as that is my view.
To answer this question, I have never spoken the name of G_d out loud,and I never will. I will not spell His name out. To do these things is not respectful. He is so Holy and so Great that His name should not even be mentioned. My dear friends use a name that I use out of respect for them. Saul, obviously you are a religious man. Why would you NOT equate the Real I.D. with "the mark of the beast" mentioned in the book of Revelation in the bible?

Saul, you have been sorely misinformed. God's name is Elohim, Yahweh, Jehovah, and also "I am". It is different in all languages. Jesus is Yahshua, Jesus, and Joshua. There is not one place in the Bible that God commands you never to say his name. How would Jesus ever spread the gospel if he couldn't say God's name? You are disobeying the first commandment: Thou shalt have no other gods before me. You are making up another god that says you can't pronounce his name. (A trick of the devil.) The only time you are not to use his name is in commandment #3: Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
However, with that said, I respect your belief to not say his name or spell it out, as irritating as it is. I also nearly fell for that belief, but upon further research and study, found that it was just a "religious" man-made sect that held that belief.
Now, as far as the Real ID goes, I will refuse to upgrade to it. If I can't fly with it, so what? I haven't been on a plane for 20 plus years, don't care if I can fly or not. If I can't enter a stoopid government building, I don't care either. (every time I have go into one, it costs me money! i.e. taxes, fees, fines, etc...) If I can't buy or sell at a local grocery store, so what? There'll will be a lot of us like that, so the underground "free market" will prosper despite the stoopid ID. If I can't drive freely around the US without it, I guess I'll have to bicycle, hitchhike or walk. If I can't get a passport, so what? Illegals get into this country by the thousands. Ya think they're gonna let them come in and we can't get out the same way? Oh, but wait, perhaps they'll have to secure the borders to keep us from escaping! Won't that be a joke?! Reminds me of that song by the Eagles: Hotel California,,, gosh I'm getting old... what's the words to it? Something like you can check in, but you can't check out... Ha!

I DO NOT trust the federal government to use these ID's wisely, and, in fact, I would argue that even if the government had good intentions theres not a whole lot, if any, positive things they could do with these ID's.
