No End in Sight at opening theatres

I sent this out three weeks ago. This is an excellent opportunity for those who are in Meetup groups in the major cities this movie opens in to be at the theatre after the viewers come out, they are going to want to know what we can do, judging from the trailer, the viewers may be a little outraged and or feeling helpless, this is where the message of Ron Paul is best delivered, those viewers may think there is no one to help. We have to be there for them to tell them that Ron Paul indeed, is Hope for America! Please get your slim jims, get out there and introduce them to our candidate as they exit!

Olympia, Washington Meetup group for Ron Paul in 2008!

'...truth is loved in such a way that those who love some other thing want it to be the truth, and precisely because they do not wish to be deceived, are unwilling to be convinced that they are deceived." --- St. Augustine, Confessions (10:23), 5th c.

Operation Enduring Stupidity

.
I found this painful to watch; a bad mission incompetently planned and executed. This was a lose-lose situation even before it launched.

Let's hope that Ron Paul will prevail and end this stupidity.

I wonder

I wonder if the premise in this movie will follow the "incompetence" line.

Or will it try to make the case that the destruction of Iraq, along with the destruction of our military, was deliberate.

It kinda seemed like that from the trailer, but who knows without seeing the movie.

If the goal was actually to liberate Iraq and create a stable nation there, then it has been a complete failure. More than complete.

If the goal was to destroy the country, foment sectarian violence, keep oil in the ground, not allow any of the massive newly discovered oil fields in anbar province to be tapped, keep oil trading in dollars for at least another decade, make oil prices go through the roof, etc. then the operation has been a smashing success.

Mesogan has it figured out

Mesogan is on the right track with his picture of our Iraqi operation. It's all about oil and the control of it. It has nothing to do with promoting democracy. If that was the goal, why don't we go down to Cuba and kick old Fidel out. There only 90 miles away from Florida. When Sadam was in control, we had $1.25 gasoline. It looks like it takes someone with brutal control to manage the Iraqi people. That's their problem (but the Bush team has made it OUR problem). No, it's all about the oil, and I don't think the Bush team expected all the continued sectarian activity. Therein lies the problem that we can't fix.
