Strange EMAIL - From White House possibly? Be suspicious! I AM!

Phil Sheldon, Peter Cunns, Gail Box, Becky Woodhouse, Ernie Simmons, Anthony Perez and Clair Griner were all NOT Pennsylvania-domiciled contributors to Ron Paul's presidential campaign through March 31, 2008.

I have to say, I don't think it's harmful. Some people tracked it to a Phil Sheldon, whom they have a personal issue with for trying to save Terry Schaivo. I think the only thing wrong with it was the creepy way it showed up without any explanation. But I get emails from CCRKBA that I never signed up for, not to mention White House spam. I think everyone should relax already.

I find this on boardreader.com about Diener Consultants. This is the name on the website that emails go back to if you click one of the links. Looks like they are targeting a lot of conservative and liberty sites.

One logo hosted on their site is the Citizen's Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms

When you search boardreader.com, you'll see that most of the posts are about defending the second amendment.

Not sure how they got our emails though :( or if its a cover for something else.

I can confirm that clicking any of the links 'subscribes' you to the list. Even the 'How was I added link' still directs to the subscribe page (which by the way does not advise how the person was added).

Barr's PAC has had prior ties to the far right Minuteman group. Do you also receive a lot of e-mails (many of a religious bent) which ask you to send this message on to at least 10 people, and also return it to the person who sent it to you?
Do you send it on to others, and return it to the sender?
If so, you are in the 'phishing net'.

Do you delete all previous addressees when you forward an e-mail?

Do you BCC when sending a message to more than 1 addressee?
