You saw it here first: Peter Schiff will be the next President of the US

0 votes

A lot of people call shots on these forums, but my title was more of an attention getter. Gotta open your minds a bit here, and try to understand where Peter is going with his efforts. If he becomes the next Senator in the state of CT, (which I believe he will), he will gain a cult-like following. Six months in the Senate and we will be HOUNDING him to run for President. He will listen. This, after-all, is his untold plan anyways, (my presumption).

I feel that he is a better politician than Ron Paul, (Paul is the gold standard as public representative) is incredibly well spoken, can out-debate anybody and has major leadership qualities. We are looking at our next President. Chart the course, we have our guy...

I highly doubt it. $1

I highly doubt it. $1 Million dollars in a senate race that hes not even registered in and he still has doubts.

He'd probably want $500 million to even consider presidency.

Where are you from?

Or where have you been? It is NECESSARY to have these kinds of war chests to win elections. Some say Obama went through a billion $$.

A senate today - president tomorrow

type of marketing message might get some early publicity, especially if it was grass roots like Ron Paul's was. How hard could it be to pepper CT with homemade grassroots type signs?

I'll make one if someone in CT promises to use it and take a pic for me. Who can come up with a slogan fitting enough to take off on its own?

Calling whoever came up with all the Ron Paul slogans that showed up everywhere:

Google Ron Paul
RLoveUtion
etc.

Schiff is by far the best

Schiff is by far the best guy we have in terms of explaining our message in an easy to understand fashion.

Schiff has amazing communication and debate skills... He's excellent.

No he won't. His dad is a

No he won't.

His dad is a tax-evader... will be labeled unpatriotic.

He is divorced... will be labeled as having no values.

He is investing his (clients') money overseas... will be labeled as not believing in America.

He isn't nearly as impeccable as Dr. Ron Paul.

Geithner is a tax evader and

Geithner is a tax evader and he runs the IRS. Peter would rather be investing his clients money in the US, but his job as a stock broker is to make profits, and the best place to do that is outside the US. Peter understands the problems and can counter all those statements.

He won't be the next President not because of your reasons, but because he isn't in bed with the Fed.

His dad is a patriot.

Irwin Schiff is in jail because he tried to make the IRS obey the law, and they have a much larger litigation budget than he did.

Sounds just like what wins

Sounds just like what wins elections these days..
Good people do Good deeds
and are no respecter of person

No values?

GOP voters apparently don't care about "values" in their leaders. Look at adulterer Newt Gingrich on his 3rd marriage, thrice-divorced drug abuser Rush Limbaugh, John McCain who left his crippled wife after he met a beautiful heiress. Rudy Giuliani thrice married...even Ronald Reagan was on his 2nd marriage when he hit the white house.

Sure Schiff isn't as impeccable as Dr. Paul, but the idea that mainstream voters look for "values" in their leaders is completely laughable.

All I can say is

I hope you're right.

I was thinking this exact same thing today. :o)

Glad to see other people are thinking the same way.

Rand will make a great Senator

but all of our focus needs to be on Schiff. He is the key to our movement going forward.

i also thought this was

possible. obama did it, and we know schiff just wants to get in there to fix things not to necessarily make a career so if he had the shot at pres he would take it

I don't remember ever

I don't remember ever hearing about his views on foreign policy. For me, that is just as important as monetary policy. If he's got that right, than I like it.

He has stated several times

He has stated several times the need to bring our troops home from around the world.

So did Obama...

So did Obama...

C'mon with that crud. We

C'mon with that crud. We all knew Obama was a shill. Peter is anti-establishment.

I like where you are headed

I like where you are headed with this.

I think that's a bit of a

I think that's a bit of a stretch... scratch that, it's a huge stretch... I don't think he's planning on running for President, and I don't think he's such a shoe-in for Senate. It will be a tough primary, and an equally tough general election, and if he isn't elected as Senator, you can kiss any future hope for further political ambition/office goodbye.

Judge Napalitano?

Maybe?

We could sure use him on the supreme court.

Andrew Napolitano could undo a lot of the damage that the supreme court has done since they threw in the towel and capitulated to Roosevelt.

ohmygod!

Hadn't thought of that but hope you're right!!

Don't forget, Obama did it

Don't forget, Obama did it after just 2 years in the Senate.

but obama was set in place

but obama was set in place by the world elite.. Schiff is not..

A prudent man foresees the difficulties ahead and prepares for them; the simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. Proverbs 22:3
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to
send peace on earth: I came not to send peace,
but a sword.

Just maybe in 3 years the elite will be of no effect

and the people will be back in control.

This assumes we can take control of the MSM.

But we all knew it was the MSM that destroyedt Ron. It was not because he was not polished. For me Ron spoke the truth like no other, the problem I saw was that most people I knew were in the mentality of an American Idol contest. Peter will have to deal with this and with the current economic status of this country. I think he has a better chance of getting through to people but I would not bet on that based on what I have seen.

I know I might sound as though I am arrogant and better then you, but the truth is I know pretty much everyone on here see's the same things. If it were not for the blatant manipulation from the MSM this site might not even exist. I like Peter and have been listening to him since 2006. I was so happy when he jumped on board with Ron Paul as a economic adviser. But then I saw what they did to this man. That is why I am reluctant to jump on the Peter for Prez even before he wins his seat in the senate.

The difference between Peter

The difference between Peter and Paul is that Peter is Rich while Paul was not. Perhaps Peter may be able to make use his own wealth to succeed where Paul failed. I wonder, just how rich is he? For instance, does he outrank Romney, as far as personal wealth goes?

I am not so sure.

There were times when Ron Paul should have spoken up more strongly than he did. It made him look a little weak. But there is a guy with loads of charisma that talks like Ron Paul but with a more powerful voice.
And Passion. his name is Scott Ritter he wrote a book called "waging peace". He was a UN inspector in IRAQ and opposed the invasion.
Yes Peter Schiff is good but he deals in technicalities. People don't get excited by that. But Scott Ritter has that flame and fire that riles the passions in people and is what wins elections.

Here watch a couple of short video's I hope you watch them:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkJ4g2xF1zc

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rkZ2mQ92Ow

Ritter has got a good

Ritter has got a good message, but his presentation is not very comfortable to watch. For almost every word he spoke, he had a hand movement or body twitch to match.....

Be that as it may, I would vote for him. His passion is apparent.

With Freedom Comes Responsibility

I don't know. Maybe there's another stockbroker who hasn't been

on TV yet that we can all blindly follow if he says the Fed is bad. Personally, I'd vote for a duck if he could quack "fed bad" and get on TV.
